  • Not the only one! I was just talking with a friend the other day about how I seem to sabotage myself. Everytime I get to a new level I end up eating unhealthy and reversing it...ridiculous. I'm about to break into that new level again...trying not to sabotage myself this time :)

Walked my 20,000 steps even though I was exhausted and skipped on the chinese food my family ordered for dinner What would I have done differently? Gotten more sleep the…

  • Hope you ladies don't mind me jumping in...this seems like a great way to stay accountable! Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yes, if anything too low. Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Didn't have one...just joined this thread today. What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Enjoyed a gorgeous sunny day…
  • You look fantastic! Way to go with the awesome progress...keep it up :)
  • I also like to get cheese sticks...pack a nice lil punch without too many calories. Usually over 10 grams with 2 sticks and you can fit that in for 100-120 cals total.
  • I eat a banana EVERY SINGLE DAY...it's one of the few things I crave...and I've had no problem dropping weight.
  • AGREED!!! You look amazing!
  • You look great!!! Keep up the awesome work :)
  • Way to go!!! I just finished week 2 of stage 1 today and am LOVING the program so far. Feel stronger already :)
  • I weigh daily and track using an APP called "Libra Weight" on my phone. It shows the trend (downward) and helps me to keep from getting frustrated on those days of fluctuation. :)
  • Yep I do it too...on Sundays :) It's my weekly weigh in day, rest day from exercise, and I allow myself a cheat meal as my family goes out to eat every Sunday for lunch or dinner. I have been pretty pleased with my progress so far, and this allows me to not feel deprived. Knowing that I have a treat coming on Sunday helps…
  • Yes! I've been eating back all my exercise calories and have had many many days that I go above calories with indulgences and such...I have still lost 17.4 lbs in 3 months (with not too many left to go)
  • I drink a TON of water...but for a once a day "treat" I indulge in a variety of Sparkling ICE drinks...LOVE THEM
  • Your right...looking back at it there are a few days I forgot to log my exercise, need to be better with that. I do need to pay closer attention to my protein and fat, though I already feel like I have far more protein in my diet than ever before. I'll try a snack later in the evening that's higher in protein to make up…
  • Now it is...sorry! :)
  • I eat about every 2-3 hours...my journal is open feel free to look and make any suggestions
  • I NET right around 1680 calories a day. 5'8.5" and 182lbs
  • I do yes, that's usually when I have my biggest meal of the day
  • Don't beat yourself up...let last night go. This isn't going to be a quick process and there will be bumps in the road. Aim for more of a lifestyle change that you can sustain long term. That INCLUDES occasional treats. I have slips here and there...just make sure you get right back on track with your next meal or…
  • I turn into a craving monster the week before my period too...I've discovered 2 treats that are amazing tasting and pretty healthy too...they've saved me :) 1) Peanut butter cup ice cream. Mix a No-sugar added fudgsicle, 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter, and 2 tablespoons of whip cream and enjoy... 2) Cheesecake. Mix a…
  • I do weigh daily and record in an app called "libra weight"...it tracks the trends and shows it graphically. Its kinda nice to see the general downward trend so the individual weights don't get to me. But more than once a day...no...I'd drive myself crazy.
  • I have done alot of research on this, worked with a Dietician, Personal Trainer, and am myself a Nurse Practitioner. The minimum an individual should be consuming is a NET of their BMR, meaning eat at least your BMR PLUS any workout calories burned. Use caution with this however if you are using MFP estimates of calories…
  • I know what your going thru...I went thru something similar as I started a new job. Was used to a big evening meal but then I was working til 6 every night and by the time I cooked it would easily be 7-7:30 and didn't want to be eating that much so late and then going to bed and having it sit. I shifted my calories to…
  • I'm not familiar with this particular app...but I'm learning to be a runner :)
  • The way it's metabolized by the body and how it effects the resulting insulin spikes. Manufactured sugars are terrible for you...natural sugar (in fruit) is fine
