Is getting up to change the channel on the tv because I forgot to get remote batteries considered exercise? Is cheering for my football team considered exercise because I think I almost gave myself a heart attack doing it. Is that normal?

Before you give up the ship, have you been under your goal and logged EVERYTHING? Even a cup of coffee can put you over your calorie goal. Also, drink your water. It cleanses you. I never eat all the calories I am allowed. I only eat the minimum which is 1200. Sometimes I go over 1200 but not by far. The doctor should test you for thyroid etc. If you take birth control pills, anti depressants, or if you are a diebetic or kidney patient sometimes the medicines will make you have a harder time losing weight. There are apps for your phone you can download that tell you how many calories, fat etc are in restaurant food. (McDonald's big mac, Subway tuna sub 12" etc) You might want to download one for your phone and look up the nutrition info in the food before you even get to the place to eat. It is definitely confusing. I try not to eat if I am not hungry. I drink my water like I should on most days. I find it hard on weekends. I always thought the extra earned calories were like a "get out of jail free card". (to be used if needed)
