Thanks for sharing. I really like to have more lower calorie ideas for snacks as I prefer to have a variety. It keeps me from getting bored with my food each day. You've got some great ideas here.

I like to put a tablespoon of craisins and 2 teaspoons of flax seeds in my quaker minute oats with 1/2 water and 1/2 milk substitute. It's yummy and has lots of textures.

Wow, that's great info. Thanks for posting!

That sounds yummy!

Thanks for sharing that website.

Thank you all for sharing. These sound so wonderful I cannot wait to freeze some. :)

Yes I am one who does. It gives me an accurate picture of the nutrients I am getting and where I may need to adjust my diet to accommodate deficiencies. I also log zero calorie drink mixes, teas, drinks, etc. for the same reasons.

I take a calcium supplement, Caltrate chews. I only take one a day, though, not two. I find that if I get enough dairy products, I can easily reach 100% with only one supplement.

I like being able to see what minerals and vitamins I am getting. It helps me adjust my food choices to get more of the things I am deficient on. I love it!

Wow, that sounds wonderful, especially with all the snow and just plain cold weather we've had.

Yes, of course, they should be done in moderation. I never drink them after lunch and usually only drink one serving (1/2 a can). I pour the remainder into an airtight bottle and refrigerate for the next time. Occasionally, I have the entire can, but then I don't worry about the calories because there are none in the…

The energy blend comes from taurine, panax ginseng, L-carnitine, glucoronolactone, inositol, guarana, and maltodextrin (not caffeine). My understanding is that these are mostly from plant-based products.

Monter's Absolutely Zero has no sugar and no calories. I love them, too! So glad they were able to make them zero calories.

If you have a smartphone, you can download a free app that measures heart rate. It's very easy to use, too.

Try soy, beef, ricotta cheese, canned or packaged salmon, jerky, too. There are too many ways to get good protein to limit yourself. Variety will keep you interested in weight management. Also, I noticed that Jack Links has a snack size (25 calories) jerky that I just found as I was looking for alternative snacks in the…

I checked out the site but I could only find one recipe on that site. Is there a link to a homepage? The link on that page simply was the same page.

Thanks for the link. I will try it.

I agree; it's awesome. I love how it syncs so I can use the app or the website interchangeably, too.

Oh, yeah, I remember now. You were the one playing the Spanish guitar in the subway for money. You said you wanted to collect enough so you could go to Vegas. You had long black hair with a pink strand back then. You wore hiphuggers and flowers in your hair. What ever happened? Did you make it to Vegas?

Hello all, I am also pretty new to this site. I downloaded the app to my Droid in December, but could not get it to sync with the online site. I haphazardly used it through the holidays, more with the idea that come the first of the year I would be more dedicated. Middle of January I removed the app from my phone and…

I use Lactaid milk, that's the brand name. It's in the refrigerated section near the other milk. It works as a great milk substitute and I like it much better than soy or almond milks. My cats like it, too.
