I like Asparagus the most, I'll just grill it on the BBQ or Foreman if it's winter. Brush a bit of olive oil, cracked black pepper and salt on it. Simple and great.

Tuna casserole with either egg white noodles or whole wheat rotini pasta.

You might have hit a plateau, change up your routine a bit.

If I have coffee, tea or a diet soda I'll offset it with 500ml of water extra.

Wow, what a transformation!

If you want to maximize your results you need to do this: 1. Eat clean - limit "cheat meals" to once a week, give yourself a reward for eating clean 97% of the time. 2. Eat smaller meals more frequently - Starving your body of the needed calories will only hurt your progress. Eat every 2-3 hours, 6 meals a day. I usually…

Having a cheat meal or cheat day once in a while isn't that bad. Yes if you check the scale immediately the next day you might notice an increase, but weight shifts as much as up to 5 lbs throughout the day. I usually just do 1 cheat meal a week on the day of my weigh in. This gives me a full week to get my weight back in…

I was horribly addicted to alcohol for many, many years. I finally broke that bottle once I took responsibility for my actions and got myself clean. Now of course, everyone is different, some can drink, I just know I can't now. When you over drink, your body will crave more carbs. Big reason why I ballooned up to 310 was…

I'm fairly new to this site, but I've logged in for 15 days in a row. I'm dedicated to continue to do this as I've put it as part of my daily routine now.

Sending ya a friend invite. I'll help motivate you!

I want to be Bane, an *kitten* kicking bad *kitten*. Pretty sure that makes me qualified.

It's definitely a hefty goal. Need to make a great meal plan and have a good exercise regime. With hard work and strong dedication, you'll have a stronger chance of achieving it. I'm on track to lose 25 lbs in 2 months, so that's half. I do empty stomach cardio 40 mins every morning, eat clean and frequently and hit the…

I don't bother with any canned vegetables. I stock a good amount of frozen veg that I can quickly use in things like stir fry, soups, or a quick side to go with my protein at dinner such as a green bean. Fresh is definitely the best way if you don't over stock your fridge.

Pretty much what fattyfoodie said.

It's a real sad state in our society. Even though I'm Canadian, the same kind of issues have been plaguing us as well. The fast food industry is a huge reason why there is such an epidemic. It's much faster and cheaper to buy a happy meal for your kids, which is what a lot of parents will do. Meal planning and preparation…

Way to go that's an amazing achievement!

Nutrition in my opinion is the most important thing for getting into shape, and living a healthy lifestyle. Think of it like the foundation of a building/house, and everything gets built on top of it. A big reason why diets do not work in the long run is they are just short term fads, life style changes must be made.…

I usually stick with a light mayo and only 1 tbsp for 1 whole can of tuna type of thing. I have a jar of whipped dressing that's blue menu that I'm trying to go through before I go back to using mayo.

I can do that, count me in!

I can see some difference. Remember it's not always about the physical part of transforming. How do you feel on the inside? Getting better sleep, more energy, happier moods etc, that's always a big part of this as well.

Feel free to add me. Helping to motivate others including myself is a big reason why I'm here.

Some days I'll eat max 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter usually on toast or whole wheat waffles. Just reduce your intake a little bit, the benefits of peanut butter are very good. I'd recommend just getting a brand that is just peanuts, no added salt or sugar. Sometimes I'll go buy bulk unsalted peanuts and make my own with…

Welcome, I`m very new to this site as well. You can add me.

Spaghetti is my 2nd favourite (Butternut is the best). The way I would prepare it is slice it in half, take out the guts and seeds, add some salted butter, nutmeg and cracked black pepper. Bake at 400 F for around 45 mins or so then just scoop it out, mix it up a bit and serve. I don't eat it very often as I can eat…

I can agree, I've started looking into the mirror a lot more lately. People at work, my family, and friends have all started commenting on how much better I look compared to last year. That's probably a big reason why I'm doing it because I always hated myself in the mirror.

I can't stand the type of ppl that chat more at a gym then actually lifting weights or doing cardio. These ppl won't even break a sweat and then pat themselves on the back with how hard they "pushed themselves". I think a bigger pet peeve for me is when members won't rack their weights. It's especially frustrating for…

I'm actually eating a mixed green salad right now with Kale in it. I find by itself it's very bitter and bland. In a mixture it adds some texture since it's very crisp. I don't really like Celery unless it's in something like a soup. It just doesn't do anything for me even with some natural peanut butter smothered on top.

You can add me as well, I still have some geek left in me. I love my video games (although I play casually now), movies and the odd comic book character (my username is based off a Batman villain).

I used a bit of Splenda today with my oatmeal. I don't use sweetners that often, especially the ones with aspartame. Most of the time I'll just use natural sugars like 15 ml of honey in my water bottle during a work out to give me that little bit of a boost.
