My favourite smoothie is: 1 frozen banana, 1 pear, about 1/2 c frozen blueberries, tons of spinach, and a bit of water. It's roughly 250-300 calories and its pure goodness.

Use the IIFYM.com calculator to calculate how much you should be eating. With the IIFYM calculator you do not eat back your exercise calories. MFP tends to assign really low numbers. Oh, and 800 is WAY too low - you should never be eating so little!

I eat a banana every single day and I eat potatoes a few times per week. That's just crazy! If you don't have allergies or if your doctor hasn't explicitly said not to eat those foods, then why would you avoid them? In essence, no fruit or veg should be avoided. They're all rich in vitamins and essential nutrients.

I always weigh in the morning as my "true weight". Its normal to "gain" a few pounds during the day, especially if you drink a lot of water.
