Do you allow yourself a treat everyday or less than that?

I eat relatively healthy, but I always seem to crave sugar, so I will allow myself to eat something sugary and not so healthy when I get home (although the treat varies). Is there anyway to control this craving for sugary sweets like chocolate and cake? I go on mini-binges and feel awful afterwards, even though I can fit it into my calories (although I cut it close).

I just love chocolate and tried cutting it out, it backfired and I binged. Now, I put chocolate in something basically daily. I always fit it into my macros, so it's not a big deal. I will put some chocolate chips in my oatmeal, drink some chocolate almond milk...etc, or just eat a piece of chocolate! I don't binge anymore because of this. Works for me!
If you can control yourself and only have a small quantity then I don't see a problem in doing it daily0 -
I echo above. Tried to cut it out and it backfired. I always keep a treat around. Hot chocolate, some cookies, right now there's a Boston Cream Pie on the counter. I do have about 1/4 of what I would like, but I eat it slowly and enjoy every bite. I make sure it fits into my calorie goal too. I also discovered the blog Chocolate Covered Katie a while ago and that's been great. I use so many of her recipes to make healthy treats. The Nutella rice krispie treats are my favorite.0

I don't "allow" myself a treat. I'm not a dog. LOL. If I want something I eat it. If it's too much, I exercise.0

My daily treat is not even so much of a cheat! I found the Dole Dark Chocolate Strawberry Dippers in the frozen food section. Each little package is only 60 cals, 6 carbs and 4 g fat. So yum! (and totally diet friendly!) My nightly snack!0

Depends. A lot of time my treats are some Greek yogurt, protein bar, or some Graze box snacks. But typically yeah I have 300ish calories of whatever I want every day.0

I have a Skinny Cow ice cream bar just about every day. I also choose protein bars that are on the on the sweeter side and my Greek yogurt and coffee in the mornings tend to be sweeter flavors. As long as it fits in your goals and you don't have any medical conditions that would restrict you, I don't see a problem with a daily treat.0

I'll allow myself something small everyday. Like others have said, I too have tried to eliminate completely and it just turned into bingeing constantly.0

Not every day, but several times a week. Tonight, the kids are making Christmas sugar cookies...frosted with sprinkles. I already put one in my foods.0

I allow a treat when I want one but not daily, if I know I want something I will plan for it to fit into my food diary or workout extra to have it.0

I can see you don't know what moderation means...
