Weight loss is calories in and calories out. Eating too many carbs and/or too much fat is bad, so I wouldn't say one balances out the other, but it does help to try to maintain the appropriate levels.

Well sometimes to attain these low weights, models are known to not eat enough (essentially starving). Usually the ideal weight for 5'11" (regardless of body structure) is 130 minimum. A carb-protein load- sliced banana on a slice of whole grain toast with 1 tbsp. of almond butter and a protein shake It keeps me way too full, but it's a good thing since I have lunch about five-six hours after.

Thanks for all the responses! To the first poster: I saw a lot of posts that said that, but I needed some validation, still. Didn't want to think I was going easy on myself and letting it go. I'll just keep at it, and see my progress within the next few weeks.

I used to care about them, but not anymore. I agree with ya on the chafing issue. Very annoying! Honestly, I seem to gain my weight in my thighs/butt first, so if I'm eating healthy they'll barely rub against each other- if I'm gaining weight/bloated, they'll noticeably rub against each other.

Brings tons of snacks with you in your backpack/tote. That way you won't be tempted by your rumbling tummy when lunch time rolls around to eat anything in sight! :wink: That's what I do! A bag of nuts and fruits. Even veggie sticks sometimes!
