Hello, I was doing Noom too, but as stated above, I got incredibly annoyed by it too. Plus, it was too expensive to continue. What I don’t understand is the caloric difference between the these programs. Noom had me on 1200 calories per day. MFP gives me 1590. That’s a big difference. I walk 2 miles about 4 to 5 times a…

Klkelley, thanks for message board info. Glad I'm not the only one dissatisfied with WW. I was on MFP years ago but never stuck with it. Now, with all the updates on here and the barcode scanning ability this should make it a lot easier to maintain. I wish you lots of luck too. Keep me posted on your progress.

Hi! I just quit WW also bc of Freestyle. They took away Smartpoints which worked well for me. I was so mad I couldn't see paying for a program that didn't work. So glad MFP has a barcode. I have to get used to counting calories again as opposed to points. Please feel free to add me as a friend

Try Zumba. I love it and really look forward to my classes. Besides you burn lots of calories in the one hour class. Does your gym offer Zumba classes or the YMCA? Try it. Bet you'll like it.:smile:

Thanks for all the posts everyone. I think I'll forgo the cereals I eat in the morning. Usually, I have Kashi Autumn Wheat cereal with fresh strawberries but I never feel satisfied afterwards. I'm going to try protein in the mornings and see what happens. It should be a better way to start my day. :smile:

Thanks for your input. I do despise weight training. It's funny, most people hate cardio and prefer strength training . I just hate going to the gym doing these. I'd rather be outside any day. But, we've been getting lots of rain here lately so treadmill here I come.
