my BMR is roughly 1600. I'm eating 1800 calories a day, working out 3-5 days a week

True. I've never slept on a sidewalk

Poor...poor people. 6 minutes.Even our quickies are between 15-20 minutes. And way more fun than walking. Actually, I'm positive he would prefer some bedroom (or anywhere else) team exercise rather than going for a walk haha

Cool, carry on then. Thanks for your input. I thought about the original post a bit (while I was eating my nachos) and while the OP's intentions may have been to suggest that, yes, we can do it. It'll be hard but we can do it...the way she (or he..I don't really care) said it was completely arrogant and came off as such.…

 Since when does belittling someone give them the determination to succeed? So you've never had a problem with overeating or food or what have you....why are you here then? You said you wanted to lose weight., so it would be safe to assume you're heavier than you should be. How'd you get there?

does it count if I already bought mine? I'm 27 haha. I have a 1961 Comet. The other half is looking at his crisis car tomorrow actually, a 1958 Caddy

This. Any dog I've ever owned has been trained since a pup that it doesn't leave the yard unless its with me. I can take my current pup (well, he's 7, but I call him a pup) Dexter to an off leash park here in the city and he still wont go more than 20 feet ahead without turning around and running back. Has never chased…

I need this in my life

I just finished day 3 level 2 earlier today. It's kicking my *kitten*, but I keep doing it. I only took one day off as there was a family emergency, but I keep going. I'd like to say it gets easier, but it doesn't...well...in a way they do, but I think it's a good thing they don't get too easy...it keeps it a challenge.…

I want the only parts that really jiggle when I run on the beach to be my...uh...girls. And to feel more comfortable in a rashguard shirt when I surf. That's about it. I've come to terms with never being what magazines say are attractive. I've got a man who loves me the way I am...now it's time for me to love me too.

<--- fish nerd. I've owned pretty much everything you can own (at one point had over 30 tanks, including a shark/ray pond/pool) various reptiles and snakes. Had a pair of sulcata tortoises and a few boas and pythons. Oh, and I once had 8 peking ducks.

I draw on people with needles for a living.

"Tell Me Why You Love Me" By Scotty Baker, a rockabilly singer from Australia and good friend of mine. Favorite line: Tell me why you love me, in detail tell me slow tell me why you love me oh baby I need to know I've been waiting all night just to hear you say oh sweet heart I love you so tell me why you love me and let…

When I was getting my TDEE-20 numbers I factored in my activity level. I'm exercising 7 days a week, so it classified me as "very active"
-
when doing TDEE-20% (or whatever percentage) you DONT eat back workout calories.
-
yep. And at first MFP had me on 1200. No way my body could maintain itself at 1200 calories when I'm burning between 800-900 a day working out. When you do the TDEE-20% or whatever it factors in your workout regime. So you don't eat back calories. Even working out minimally at 1200/day you will throw your metabolism and…

Whoa! you look killer! and happy! Well done!
-
incredible read! I've got a bum shoulder with limited range of motion...but it's slowly getting better and better...Once I move to Australia the end of June I'll be finding a local gym and getting on a program!
-
are you working out at all? if so, how often/long? I'm going between 60 and 90 minutes 7 days a week and am at 2000 calories. If you're using the "in place of a road map" thread to do the TDEE-20% you DON'T eat your calories back, as it already factors in your activity level. Maybe that could be a reason?

30 Day Shred combines all of what you're looking for with cardio. I've only been doing it a week and I've noticed (partially thanks to muscle memory) that my legs/butt is quickly getting back to where it was when I was playing baseball and soccer. And my arms and shoulders have started to trim as well

Buffets, if done wisely, should be fine. (I would think). Last year I was there and most of the buffets we hit had health conscious choices as well. Salad bars, fresh veggies etc etc. As long as you keep this in mind you should be fine...but really, like others have said....it's Vegas! If you're not moving there and going…

3 days in so far....and I love it! I've never had so much fun. I have, however, realized that my dreams of becoming and internationally famous Latin dancer are shattered.

Depends on the crowd I guess. I'll be 28 this year. At tattoo conventions etc people generally guess around between 22 and 25 (of course, the antics I pull could lead them to that). When I'm out with friends catching a show it's between 30-35.
-
on average I'm burning between 600 and 800 calories per day. 7 days a week is a goal of 4200-5600 calories per week. I don't really track this though, as I'm now doing my TDEE-20%. Which has me eating 2000 Calories/day

I'll give it a shot! Vegas for Punk Rock Bowling May long weekend could be a bit of an issue, but I'll give it my all every day!
