I wouldn't feel full on a diet that is high in sugar, I wouldn't be able to stick to my goals. Plus it's difficult to get all the nutrients you need on a low calorie diet, like if you're eating under 2000 calories. So it's even more important to eat nutrient dense foods when you're eating very few calories. Of course if…

You don't need to exercise to maintain a lean bodyweight. I have a herniated disc and a shoulder injury, so I haven't trained in two years. My body fat is actually lower now just because I pay more attention to what I eat, before that I would workout two hours a day and stuff my face with whatever.

Chia seeds have been a miracle cure for me. I was constipated for a long time, I tried everything, prune juice, all bran cereals etc.. I just put 20g of chia seeds in my morning oatmeal, it doesn't taste anything and it keeps you regular.

It's pretty easy for me as I never eat bread, not that there is anything wrong with bread but i'm fine without it. If oats are gluten-free then my diet is 100% gluten-free.

By eliminating carbs you eliminate a lot of foods, by eliminating fat you also eliminate a lot of foods. Both method works. There are vegans who stay lean on a very low fat diet, there are paleo people who maintain their weight on a very high fat diet. You can choose to starve yourself of a certain macronutrient but you…

But in the context of a mostly plant-based diet is it still relevant? We do know that a high-fiber diet can reduce the risk of colon cancer.

It is what the candian gouvernment recommends, and most mainstream nutritionists.

Thank you for the response, I don't eat cured products, just pork escalope most of the time.

Carbs are not a problem for inactive people, i'm inactive myself because i'm injured and I maintain my weight eating 400g of carbs per day. Hell, the USDA recommends 300g of carbs for someone eating 2K calories. If carbs were a problem than Japan would be fattest nation on the planet, their obesity rate is at 1%.

Diet soda contains phosphoric acid and citric acid, both are bad for your teeth. Just google it.

I eat dates everytime I crave sugar, which is usually late at night. I rarely crave sugar during the day.

You can eat less in the day to save some calories at night, generally i'm less hungry in the day so that's what I do. I always eat bananas before I go to bed, ripe bananas contain serotonin which can help you fall asleep.

85% Dark chocolate, dark chocolate is a natural appetite suppressant. Also greek yogurt (plain) with maple syrup.

I usually mix a cup of oatmeal with a cup of 2% milk, I also have fruits. If you don't feel full after that I don't know what will. Also it takes no more than 2 minutes to prepare.
