So occasionally I like to play with the various calculators for BMR ...with my current stats I am getting a BMR calculation between 1375 and 1500...How accurate are these things? I want to be sure I'm eating the right number of calories to keep the weight coming off and not go too low. Stats: 5ft 2in 163lbs 31yo Any help…

I prefer long on me. Mine is currently almost to my waist but it's naturally curly and thick/coarse so short just doesn't work for me. I really think it just depends on the person. I say get the 4 inches or so you need trimmed off and see how you feel. If you still want to go a little shorter then go for it.

Redhead from birth (complete with green/'hazel eyes and freckles) though it has gotten much darker as I have gotten older. Now it's a lovely shade of dark auburn.

I am happier now. I wish we had both been willing to work harder because we have a son but I am defiantly happier outside of that relationship.

It is the most amazing thing to pick up my little guy at the end of a long day and see that huge smile on his face that is just for me.

I use a back pack as a diaper bag for my kiddo. We sneak all kind of things in when we go.

I had one fun sized Almond Joy which was willing given to me by my son...I let him keep the full sized kit kats...to much temptation.

My current goal is 150 which is still overweight. But that is only a reassessment point for me. I may go lower or I may not. I'm focusing on how I feel and what I see when I look in the mirror.

Hi! I have curly hair down to about mid back and I intend to let it keep growing. I usually braid it or put it up in a bun for workouts. Dry shampoo is a lifesaver for weeks when I'm wanting to wear it straight. Also I try to keep the products in my hair to a minimum to not add any extra "dirt" to the equation. Since mine…

As a light lunch I will sometimes mix cooked chicken with light ranch and stuff into celery. Yum! Also I agree with Hummus and PB2. I have chocolate pb2 today to go with my apples in fact. And when I want real peanut butter I always use Peter Pan whipped. I like the texture better and it's lower in calories than regular…

Keep logging and eating at a deficit and when everything levels out you will have a pleasant surprise on the scale. Been there done that myself and I actually "gained" during TOM last month but it all worked out a few days after it was all done.

Great job! Love that feeling! Can't wait to be comfortable enough to enjoy shopping again.

My son is two and he loves to carry the shopping basket when we are at the grocery store. One day when it got to heavy for him to carry he still didn't want me to help so he started pushing it down the aisle. I asked him if he wanted help and he told me, "I got this." I love that kid!
