Thank you all for your advise, I very much appreciate it!!! I will continue on the journey and incorporate some more exercise as my doctor releases me to do so and I will be patient.

I appreciate all the insight, I had no idea about most of that. 🙃 I do think alot of the weight in my arms are fat right now, I wonder though if there is exercise to help this though as I continue to lose weight. My arms have always been a huge problem area. 😔

Wouldn't it depend on weather you require a lot of sleep or a little bit of sleep?

I'm newly returning to MFP after a long break, but I usually try to keep it under 400 calories. My morning are busy so I do alot of make ahead and freeze egg and turkey sausage mcmuffins or egg, canadian bacon and cheese burritos wrapped in tinfoil and thrown in the freezer. Other morning I like a mixture of things, today…

I have a GF with the adjustable temperature, it is the love of my life and I can't imagine what I'd do without it. I greatly enjoy my meats and vegetables grilled and this has been an amazing asset for both items. I would highly suggest getting the one with the removable plates, the non removable plate GF is just kind of a…

You look great... you can def. see the different in your stomach and your thighs. Overall you appear much smaller.

I wish at each stage of my slow weight gain that I had loved myself and seen the beauty in who I was at that moment, maybe I wouldn't have gained so much weight if I'd been happy with me at 160 or me at 180 or me at 200.

It can be a little confusing and I had the same question when I started with a fitness tracker. I also set my activity level at sedentary because I work a desk job... mfp does account for some activity when you set your activity as sedentary, but when you pick sedentary it really seems to believe that you don't move at all…

Thank you all, your ideas all sound so good. I have noticed that alot of people eat yogurt and fruit or granola in the mornings. :) I will definitely have to try some of the suggestions.

Eggs are not "not" an option, I enjoy eggs here and there, but I find when I eat eggs everyday I get bored of it quickly and end up eating things I shouldn't be, but also because I have high cholesterol so I try not to eat much of the yokes and there is just only so much you can do with an egg white as an everyday option.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and for taking the time to respond.... A few people have mentioned smoothies... if you drink smoothies, do you make them and home and if so what do you put in them? Do you put in any protein to make it to the next meal?

Wow... you look amazing, great job!

That's awesome... GREAT JOB!

Noodles are my guilty pleasure, I will weigh my portion out and then take another whole handful and not count it. UGH.

I have taken it in the past combined with topiramate (which helps with binge eating) and the combination worked really well while I was on it. When I got off of it then I gained the weight back, but I think thats more because I wasn't as committed as I should have been. I have also taken just the phentermine by itself and…

Thank you everyone for your input. I don't eat Chinese food too often, but wondered if there was a way that I wasn't aware of to figure the calories out. It appears we are all on the same page on this one.

LOL. Heybales... that is very true... I do indeed have 2 children and my activity is set at sedentary because I work a desk job (by day) but I suppose by night I am in fact the crazy mother who runs back and forth barely sitting down for even a moment gaining myself a little extra unintended exercise. :) Thank you to…

That's awesome, great job!

Retirehappy, so if I'm understanding you correctly, I'm supposed to eat the extra calories I get for exercising?... The exercise will continue to go up through the day and there for my remaining calories will go up through the day. I worry that I will then be eating way to much. I am not moving any more than what I would…

So I've read the boards on how the fitbit in connection with MFP works and I am still sooo confused. My daily goal is usually 1530, but on my home page it says goal 1530.. Food eaten 545 - 411 (exercise) = 134 Net and then says I have 1396 calories remaining.... UMM WHAT?!?! CONFUSED!

I know you mentioned you have a dairy allergy, but I don't know if there is cream cheese that your a able to eat as you mentioned eating a lite cheese. For breakfast I enjoy a toasted plain bagel with a little bit of cream cheese and a tomato slice on each. A little salt and pepper on top the tomato adds a little extra…

Thank you so much for your reply. 1500 is what I have my daily intake set up for to begin with and I will see how I do with that. Ive gotten down to 220 at one point and even then it was really difficult to keep losing so I can imagine that at 160 it would be extremely difficult. Again I greatly appreciate you getting back…

I am newly back on my journey to weigh loss... fell off the wagon for a bit. My weight and height are the exact same as yours when you began your journey, can I ask you how many calories you ate in the beginning? I always have a hard time figuring out how many calories I should be eating in order to lose weight, but not…

First off I'd like to congratulate you on what an amazing job you have done, you have made fabulous success. GREAT JOB! Your title caught me, after spending some time here on MFP I have heard a lot of people talk about going through a plateau and at the time never really understood why our bodies do that. However I…
