  • Did the school admit that they have not been feeding him/her? Our school district's policy is that a cheese sandwich and milk will be given if no money or lunch is provided. Not to be rude, but I do think it's a parent and the childs responsibility to make sure a lunch is packed. My son is 9 and has been packing his lunch…
  • I was just wondering this as well. Thanks for all the great ideas!!!!
  • I've always had issues with the pill, and this has been like the 8th or 9th one that I've tried. I just think my body doesn't adjust to it that well, but then again pregnancy hasn't been that kind to it either.
  • Sorry, i haven't figured out the whole "quote" thing yet.
  • After I had my 2nd child, I asked the doc about getting it done, and they refused. They said I was too young. I guess people who are in their early 20's are more likely to regret their decision. Would your hubby be open to getting a vas? My cousin's DH had one of those and I hear they are more reversible than the tubes…
  • I think a lot also has to do with our lifestyles. We drive everywhere, fight for THE closest parking spot, will circle the parking lot 3 times just waiting for a spot to open up instead of parking and walking. We sit inside watching hours of tv instead of going outside, we work long hours just sitting at a desk only…
  • Does anyone have this happen? During the week I stop taking the pill (inactive pills) I lose 5 lbs, usually about 2 days after I stop taking it. Then I gain it back 2-3 days after I start taking it again. And while it's preferable to being pregnant, I'm wondering if anyone else is having this kind of weight change?
  • I 2nd the salad and work out nomination, I recommend the spray dressings. You get 10 sprays for either 10 or 15 calories depending on the spray. I like Ken's Steakhouse Lite Accents Italian Vinaigrette. Much better than some of the others I found in my fridge (Ranch at 140cal). And a quick workout would make you feel…
  • Congratulations! And thank you for the tips on how you did it!!!!!
  • Welcome! Congrats on your new little one!! I never struggled with weight until I had my 3 kids. Now I'm slowly working my way down. With my 3rd pregnancy I was up to 198lbs, I'm down to 146, and would love to get back to the 115 I was before kids. This site has great advice!!!
  • I love, love, love coke too. It's been really tough for me to give it up. But I have found that I equally enjoy Crystal Light Fruit Punch. I'm not real big on the other flavors, but the fruit punch is awesome. So I now substitute that for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At only 5 calories for 8oz, it's a huge improvement for…

  • I guess we should buy Halloween candy early. No wait, that's probably a bad idea. It would get eaten.
  • I find something that I love, but that is less calories. Not sure if that helps, but I like a half of a Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate bar. 90 calories of pure heaven. I keep them in the freezer, and when I'm feeling stressed it's not a big diet breaker. GL on your test!!!!!!
  • I wish they would make roads more biker friendly. It's not only dangerous for the bikers but for the cars that have to pass in the oncoming lane of traffic.
  • I could never take the prenatal's. They made me so sick! I was told to take 2 kids chewable vitamins. You might want to check with your ob, but that's what they told me. It helped. I took one in the morning and one in the evening.
  • I will be praying for him! Hope he is feeling better soon!!!!!
  • Thank you for the exercises! I really appreciate it! The Ortho told me that I probably would not be able to run again, but I would really like to prove him wrong. Preferably without the surgery. I will definitely start doing the exercises and working on getting those muscles stronger.
  • I got diagnosed yesterday with this. I found one topic on it online, but not much other info. My MRI came back abnormal with my kneecap tracking towards the side and the cartilidge on the outside of my knee thinning. They're not sure of the density of the cartilidge. Doc said PT for 4-6wks 2-3 days a week. Not possible due…
  • Is it a joke? Well I guess if it is true, they'll be making a lot of money. All those people at bars can now get there nic fix without having to step outside.
  • Congrats! That is a HUGE accomplishment! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
  • Hubby's at work, so I guess I'll have to go for the chocolate. You guys are too funny though, I've been lmao, and my kids have been asking what I'm laughing at. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
  • Thank you! And TY Banks1850, I'll have to read through all of those. I read the first one, and it was really helpful. It also maybe explained why I had a monster headache yesterday  I definitely did not eat enough calories. I have a tendency to try and "save" my calories for dinner. Probably not the best idea. Like…
  • I had the shot in my wrist for carpal tunnel 3 times. It wasn't too painful, didn't feel awesome or anything, but I would say it hurt for the next 2 days or so. Not excrutiating, but mildly sore. Obviously not in the same area, but I figured I'd throw it out there anyhow.
  • I'm such a sucker for the Pop Secret 100 calorie bags of popcorn! Makes me feel like I'm getting a whole lot for my 100 calories!!!!
  • I'm so curious....what does he eat? I'm sure I'll be incredibly jealous, but the curiosity is killing me. And yes, he is so incredibly talented. But I LOVE Rafeal Nadal. He is gorgeous. I did my work out to his tennis match yesterday. Boy, talk about motivation!!!!

  • Ok, I said I wanted to lose 2lbs per week, however every website I go to keeps recalculating it to 1.3 or 1.4lbs per week. First off, that will take me FOREVER, secondly why won't it let me calculate at losing the 2lbs per week???? What magically happens at this 1200 # and why can't I go below it? The last website said:…
  • Thanks everyone! It's great to know I'm not the only one out there struggling with this. I think it's an awesome idea about planning meals! Kristie - Congratulations on your weight loss!!!!
  • I do awesome through the entire week, but as soon as the weekend hits I just fall apart. I didn't even log Saturday or Sunday. I didn't exercise either day, and I didn't keep track of what I ate. And it makes it so much harder on Monday to get back into the routine. I feel like everything I accomplished last week has been…
