  • I think you are supposed to do each level for 10 days. I wonder too about the rest days, I've never managed to complete 30 days straight, so I think for me I need to have rest days (plus some days you just can't manage it), but I don't know what's actually recommended. I've picked this up a few times before and have had…
  • I'm in! I've done two days. I've started this a good few times before and loved it, had good results with fitness (especially arms!), but have never managed it all the way through! Are you really supposed to do 30 days straight? Or does it say anywhere you should have a rest day?
  • Hi, I lost around 30lbs two years ago on here, and have slowly put almost all of it back on : ( I'm back on the wagon too, and determined this time to actually make my goal weight! I'll add you just now. xx
  • Can you try couch to 5k? This is what I started using to learn how to run and like you could barely run for a minute without feeling like I had to stop and give up. I used this programme then went onto the 10k one and just recently ran a 16 mile challenge for charity! Just take it slow. Don't try too much too quickly as…
  • SW - 149 lbs (Sunday Jan 1) Week 1 - 148 lbs (Sunday Jan 8 ) Week 2 - xxx lbs (Sunday Jan 15) Week 3 - xxx lbs (Sunday Jan 22) Week 4 - xxx lbs (Sunday Jan 29) Total lost - xx lbs (Wednesday Feb 1)
  • I want to do this! However has anyone else noticed February 1st is Wednesday not Thursday? When is final day?
  • Hi! I started my health kick around this time last year and had the same experience. I was feeling good, eating well then like you I wanted to eat all the time. I kept snacking and snacking because I didn't want to give in and eat a big meal but I'd go over my limit on snacks anyway. I don't really have an answer all I can…
  • Thanks for all your advice. I won't do the race if it's really bad I just wish I knew what was causing the problems. I've signed up with 3 others and I just don't want to let people down. I'll feel really disappointed in myself too. Exercising is just not good for you! ;-) hi1_3183 that sounds so scary! I don't think it…
  • Genuinely a huge difference. Fab work! Also I can't believe nobody has mentioned the first pic with you picking the faces nose! Really made me chuckle..... Good job!! xx
  • Mine too although I'm the same with red meat. Also ignore the fact it's been rubbish for the last week... Been a bit off lately :-)
  • A vitamin b12 supplement is 50,000% of the RDA. If you start taking the jab this long term to lose weight side effects can include diarrhoea, joint pain and nausea. Plus if you don't really need it it will just cause a placebo effect
  • I have an under active thyroid and part of that is having a B12 deficiency. If you take B12 when you are not deficient it can have some negative effects (diarrhoea being one to name a few). I use it to speed up my metabolism as mine is very low. It might not have much of an effect otherwise. :-)
  • I started hating a certain smell that for ages I couldn't figure out what it was. I realised eventually it was oil. When my mum cooks she tends to use a lot of oil and I realised it was starting to make me gag. Horrid! I use 1cal spray and hadn't even thought about oil so it was weird that my body now seems to hate it! :-)
  • JohnGray that sucks! If I was preparing to run a half marathon I'd expect more than that!! Good luck for it, it sounds fantastic. And seriously congratulations on your weight loss that's amazing! Really well done :-) Lloyd I see what you mean. They don't have me scrubbing floors though thankfully!
  • Thanks everyone for your support. It has really helped me more than you can imagine. I do do this for myself and usually I keep it to myself. But when I'm asked about it and then berated it's just so unfair. If you don't want to hear about how fantastic I am and how I'm doing then don't ask! Thank you all again.…
  • I normally never do. My sister is a 14 so wants to be a 12. But she literally tutted when I said the dress was a 10 even though she asked. It's almost like they gang up on me and think I'm unhealthy by being this size. They say I need to fatten up which I find offensive. Telling me to eat a chocolate bar made me comment on…
  • I got mine from amazon. A polar F6 I think it is and it wasn't more than£50. I would recommend it so much!! I tried getting cheaper ones and it just ended up a waste of money. £50 is a good amount for getting a good one that'll last the distance. Just re read and realise you don't want to spend that much on one but I still…
  • I'm at week 9 of C25K and I've downloaded the B210K to start once I'm finished. I had a look and noticed it goes back to 10 minute intervals (x4 but with only 1 minute walks inbetween) and thought that was like going backwards since we finish the 5k at running for 30 minutes. However after having a look through it I think…
  • I first intended to do it every day. But then 5 days in and I just couldn't give it enough energy cos I was drained. I took Sunday off and started again on monday and I feel much better for it. I would suggest doing what you feel comfortable with. Without a day off I felt I wasn't given the workout everything and therefore…
  • I've got my diary set to public but you can have it private. Really personal preference. I don't mind cos I don't ever think people read it!! Keeping it public makes me more accountable though :-)
  • Hi!!! I got engaged last year and that I initially forced me to lose some weight. I don't have a date set however so I'm lucky that way! There is always the possibility of just running off and doing it spur of the moment though  Feel free to add me!!
  • Well this has never happened to me though I've never been pregnant but I imagine it's what you say it is. Sorry if TMI here but I think when you run you quite often gets 'things' that become unlodged inside. Does that make sense or just sound horrifically gross? Anyway sorry I can't be more help but I think it's…
  • BUMP! I would love to know too!!
  • Hi! I'm only in week 4 but I totally know what you mean about week 5 day 3. I keep counting down thinking it's impossible. But weirdly some days I do the training then come back to the treadmill and just run for fun and I can quote easily run for 12-15 minutes. So that little push for 25 will be hard but not impossible.…
  • It is 10 stone 10 pounds (150 pounds). The unit converter will be giving you 10 stones and then a tenth of a stone. Which won't work cos it's 14lbs to a stone not 10 if that makes sense. When I unit convert I usually do each whole stone and add the extra pounds myself in my head. Hope this helps!!
  • It's a great way to look at things I think. I am constantly obsessed with the numbers on my scales and little did I know i'd lost 12% of the old me! Fab! Congrats on 35% that's amazing!
  • Not small. Have you seen what a pound of fat looks like?! Phew! :-) well done keep it up!!
  • I thoroughly believe you should go to your gym session. I completely understand that you'd rather do anything else but go. But just think of how much better you'll feel after you go. You never know a bit of sweating may make you feel less itchy for a while, it'll at least take your mind off it. After all you can always go…
  • I use hovis original granary which is 92 cals per slice. Not sure on other nutritional info but I like it!! :-)
  • Hi sorry i've just skimmed this topic but I too have an underactive thyroid. Have had for about 8 years (I'm 21 now). Feel free to add me! I'll read more when I have more time :-)
