I’ll be your friend!

I’m 35! Always looking for friends here!

I hope all is well and that you hear from him soon!

For me, sometimes too much caffeine can cause me to feel strange. Especially since I have cut way down. Also, looks like you have a lot of sugar in your diet. Some kind of sugar rush, perhaps? Im sure someone else will be able to provide a more scientific reason. Hope you get the answer you are seeking. Edited to add: are…

I eat a lot of fruit, so I am always over on mine too. I don't know if it has slowed me down, but I am still losing, so I am not worrying for now.

It does suck! And my husband falls asleep two seconds after his head hit the pillow. He doesn't understand why I don't just "go to sleep". I would love to!
-
I will have to look into those. I don't like to take sleep aids, but I would try something natural.

Mine goes up and down and right now it is sky high, as I have to fly on Wednesday. It makes me so mad at myself because everyone else is so excited for vacation and I just wish it was over so I could be back home. Lame!
-
I hear ya! Sometimes my heart pounds because I know I need to sleep, but I can't. I know its an anxiety thing.

I can't speak for everyone, but I love my Bodybugg. I was way undereating before, and it is motivating. I realize that it probably isn't as acurate as they claim, but I have been losing weight steadily, so I am happy :)

I think sometimes people don't know what to say in that situation. If they haven't been on a weightloss journey, they might not know the appropriate response. I, however, think you are a rockstar. Keep it up!

I am such a night eater. I try to save some calories so that I can have a "midnight snack", and still be within my calorie range. Good luck and welcome!
-
You two look great! And it looks like you have a lot of fun together. Loved the christmas cards :)

I bought a Body Bugg. Seems to be working for me so far. I found out that I am more active than I thought, and therefore need to eat more. The results have been a little wonky due to the holidays, but now that I am back on track I am happy with the results.

That 1200 calories the site recommends already has a calorie deficit built in. If you are eating less than that, you are depriving your body the calories that it needs just to function (digest food, brain function etc). Many people recommend that even if you exercise, you want to make sure that your body is still getting…

Great post! I am going to try these :)

I took a look at your diary. I am no expert by any means, but I used to binge eat a lot. One thing that helped me was not buying junk food. You said you are seeing a doctor. Is that a medical doctor or a psychologist? I think you would benefit from learning other ways to deal with your emotions. Meditation, exercise, etc.…

I don't really have anything to add (seems like others have covered it pretty well), but I did want to say good luck! I hope you decide to stick it out :)
-
I feel the same way. I've lost 30lbs but I feel like I look exactly the same. Just getting dressed is a struggle because I feel like I look awful in everything. Hate it.
-
I am in the same boat as everyone else. When you decide to quit OP let me know. Maybe we can all do this together.
-
Some say yes some say no. I usually do because MFP has already built a deficit into the calories that you are allowed each day. Im trying not to lose weight too fast. Its generally agreed that you don't want to go under 1200 calories net either way. Good job on your loss so far :)
-
Very interesting. Will be cool to see how it works out!
-
You look absolutely amazing!! And I love the beatles stuff :)
-
I started last week but got off track. Will start again today!
-
Yeah I usually gain 5-7 pounds during that time of the month. It drops off pretty quickly though! Im guessing thats what you had going on.
-
God that is awful. Try not to let her get you down. I wish I had more/better advice for you, but reading about a mother being so.cruel frankly has left me speechless.
-
If you are assigned 1200 cals, that already factors in a deficit. So you don't need to go below 1200. Maybe try some strength training or like another suggested, switch up what you are eating? Good luck and I hope you don't give up!

My husband drives truck so I am often on my own for meals too. I end up eating a lot of turkey sandwiches with lo cal bread, giant salads with chicken breast or turkey bacon, tuna, etc. It isn't easy cooking for just one especially if the leftovers don't get eaten!
