  • I'm Liz, feel free to add me! Just hit a 40 day streak, and I'm feeling motivated to keep at it! I lost 50 lbs back in 2016 or so and kept it off until 2021. Since 2021, though, I've gained it all back and then some, so I'm restarting from the beginning and am hoping to reach my goal weight by end of 2024. SW: 205 | CW:…
  • I love this so much lol, 9 years late - better late than never! 🤣 I don't use the heart strap monitor anymore (I'm sure I've lost it somewhere in between multiple moves) but Fitbit is what I've been using now and I love it!
  • I'm looking for active friends so that we can encourage each other towards our weight loss and/or fitness goals! I have 70 lbs to lose and am restarting after having gained all the weight back that I had lost previously. Feel free to add me too!
  • Hi all! I've been off and on with MyFitnessPal for years (signed up in 2013) but am coming back now after having gained all the weight back that I had lost back in 2016~. This time, I've got 70 lbs to lose but I'm feeling more motivated than ever! I do low carb/keto due to the lack of willpower I have when it comes to…
  • Sent you a friend request - we can help cheer each other on! I'm restarting too, so I don't have much great advise for ya. Only thing I'd offer is that I definitely find it best to track food by weight, so if you haven't already tried a food scale, maybe grab a cheap one? It may not be for everyone but it's so easy to…
  • Feel free to add me - I'm getting back into things after gaining the weight back that I had lost previously (and then some). Back on the treadmill I go!
  • I have this same issue too, and it kills me every time when I end up having to toss out spoiled food. For me, it's often an issue of forgetting what food I have in the fridge, so making a list or inventory of what I have can help so I can look at it quickly and decide what I want to make using ingredients from off the…
  • General August Goals: - Go to the grocery store once a week [to encourage regular cooking of whole foods] (on track so far!) - Use up all groceries by end of each week [I'm forgetful; trying to avoid food spoilage] (on track so far!) - Brisk walking for 45 minutes x3 times a week (on track so far!) - Tracking all food via…
  • Feel free to add me! I'm restarting as well, and now am looking to lose ~70 lbs from now until the end of 2024. I lost 50 lbs before and maintained for five or so years before adding it all back and then some! Here we go again :p
  • Feel free to add me as well! I'm restarting and looking to lose ~70 lbs from now until the end of 2024
  • Good point, I'll look for posts in /r/xxketo. Completely forgot about that sub! Thanks very much.
  • 22, I don't exercise often at the moment. At most 30 minutes a day.
  • Hey feel free to add me. I've been researching keto and am looking to try it, as well as trying to get back into MFP. Feel free to add me so we can stay on track together :)

  • I want to try this, I'm in :)
  • I love Kind bars. Don't know specifically about brownie/chocolate ones but they taste good to me :)

  • I do the kind of push up where you're on your knees and hands, instead of your toes and hands. Make sure to keep your back straight though, you don't want your booty in the air. I think I'm slowly working towards "real" push ups this way, I'd recommend it. I've also been following 30DS, which incorporates weights which I…
  • I use spectrum refined organic coconut oil. Coconut oil is expensive, but I love using it in baking and various recipes. I get mine at kroger, and it usually lasts me a fair while. You can definitely smell the coconut but unless it's one of the main ingredients, I don't usually notice it really in baking.
  • I normally use sushi rice, because I love making rice balls to bring to work, but I also use sushi rice just as sides for my dinners. Oh, and you don't need a rice cooker at all. I follow this recipe every time and it works perfectly for me.…

  • I don't know anything about the benefits or disadvantages to eating rice, but I eat it probably once a week. I love it with any asian themed recipes, or by itself, or make it into red beans and rice with vegetables.

  • Sounds like the time when my friend said "I wish I weighed as much as you so I could lose that much weight". C'mon now... She practically starves herself, too, so I don't appreciate that she would consider that bragging rights when she doesn't even put any physical effort to getting the body she wants, while doing harm to…
  • Great idea. I'm trying to do the 30DS, so it might help me to check in everyday and just keep accountable and say I did it!
  • I like to put greek yogurt in a mason jar with whatever else (frozen fruit, oats, nuts, granola) and keep it in the fridge overnight. You can grab it on the way out in the morning and eat it at work, and by the time you get to it the frozen fruit isn't frozen anymore. By that point, the frozen fruit has seeped a bit into…
  • Chips like Lays Salt & Vinegar and Cheetos for me - I used to love those but this past year I've never had a craving, and when I do decide to grab a bag I always regret it because they no longer taste good to me. They also just make me feel sluggish and bleh.
  • Oh my god girl! You were gorgeous before too, but those results are damn impressive! So inspiring! Amazing job, well done :)
  • I bought this the other day along with 30 Day Shred, which I started yesterday. Already did my day 2 this morning, so I was thinking about doing the buns and thighs one maybe tonight. Is it a bad idea to layer the two, or would it be ok to mix and match? Either way I hope to hear how it works for you guys - Sounds like it…
  • I plan on starting this tonight, thanks for all the info!
  • Wow, there are some awesome sounding teas out there. I just like plain green tea :glasses:
