love this DVD as a general toning DVD. I don't do it every day but I'm sure the results would be great if you did.

a big well done for losing the weight & an even bigger one for sharing with us your philosophy. It's one I agree with totally, especially about sustainability and this fitting into your life. Well done

I've been trying to shift the at 10lb for what seams like an eternity. I was excercising like mad but it wasn't budging. I decided to relax about it, excercise when I can & now eat 1500 or so, sometimes more. And guess what? .........the scales are shifting nw 1lb per week (and that's with me having weekends off!) I also…

Hi Striped socks, like you my husband doesn't get the diet thing. He thinks I'm fine but like you there was a svelte bod in there not that long ago either!! He doesn't grumble so much as he more keeps putting temptation in my way + we eat out a lot. I have found though if I try to force what I want on him then the…

Hello Susan Congratulations on the baby & welcome to mfp. I don't live in Aberdeen but I used too (still go there from time to time)!! Now back living in Chester. I too am struggling to get off the last of my baby no2 weight. Still got 10lb to go and they are fighting me all the way. Add me as a friend if you like. Take…

I tried this last night for the first time and agree with carla - she talks way too much! Not sure I can listen to her for 3 weeks on trot before I move onto the next level. Thinking at this stage to drop back onto 30ds which I loved!

Great. You'll love it! I've got it for the wii. Just lent it to my friend who list 7 lb over a couple of weeks.

Well done to you. That's a fabulous weight loss in such a relatively short time. Keep up the good work. :drinker:

It's not a very pleasant feeling never mind on top of a skin condition. I feel it for you...

Thanks for the replys...i've just googled this and from what I can gather it may be down to the sweat glands or capillaries opening up ( or not as the case may be) when exercising. Saunas to open up the pores may help?

I've been using mfp for months now without the usual weight loss results that I've had in the past with a 1400 per day calorie controlled diet. I've put it down to eating back the calories which if they are overestimated would make sense. So I,ve stopped doing that now. I only eat back some of them now and we will see if I…

Thanks Georgie, I haven't been using proper weights - only baked bean tins which are only 400g or so. Lol. Still get a good workout though! I was intending to start my next DVD with 1lb weights & gradually build up as I revisit each DVD.

Interesting thread. I will be doing day 10 of, Level 2 of 30DS later today and have been wondering what to do after my 30 days have finished. ......I think I now have the answer . I will buy ripped soon. My question is: should I wait for any period of time between 30DS & Ripped or get straight into it? Anybody got any…

I'm definately with you here and i greatly admire that you are going for it whilst working it around your daughter. . I have a little one who is 20 months now and going to the gym is impossible at the moment as my husband works away. So now i get on my bike, baby on the back, or i jump up and down like a loony in front of…

Work up a good cardio sweat and water goes down like a dream! That's the only time I drink water. X

A tasty 10-15 min meal that works out at 517 cals. Empty 400g pack of fresh chicken ( mini fillets r best) into a plastic food bag.( 612cals) Add a blue dragon sauce( load of flavours to choose from only 121 cals per pack) Seal bag and marinade for 5 mins Turn on grill full power & put tin foil on baking tray. Grill…

Hi Chantelle, I started with the 20min classes for the first couple of days then quickly moved onto the 45minute one. I manage to do it at least 5 days out of 7 - so almost everyday. In fact it doesn't feel like a workout to me now as I love dancing around so I don't need any additional motiviation. I also drink over 2…

Size matters girls.....the weight watchers wraps are a smaller diameter. Maybe just buy your favourite, stick a plate over it and cut round it & voilà ! A healthy wrap equivalent or lower in calories to the ww variety.

Weight watchers are the lowest i've found. X

Well I did my 20 min intro at so called expert level. I couldn't stop laughing as I had this guy instructor rather than the usual female one & all his moves were different. I didn't sweat as much. Probably cos I had a little trouble following him and cos I was laughing to myself so much. Will try another 20 mins later. The…

I just list it as dancing general. From what I can gather the cals come out less than those going to proper zumba class but i'd rather that than overestimating calories burned. Ps I've been doing wii zumba for almost 2 weeks now and lost over 1 1/2 inches from my waist! My weight loss has increased by around 1/2 lb per…

If you like seafood try tandoori king prawns ( tandoori chicken if u don't). Usually comes with salad. Also chapatis are around 50 cals each.

I add frozen bluberries or forest fruits to hot porridge direct from the freezer (goes all pulpy when you defrost). The heat of the porridge melts the fruit and the fruit brings the temp of the porridge to the right eating temperature - Happy days!!

Hi there, Yes MFP gave me 1200 in the beginning which freaked me a bit. I did it for the first 2 weeks and didn't lose anything. Then I had a real wobbly moment where I felt weak, light headed etc. I knew I could not sustain this so I upped it myself to 1400 which I can sustain for months if required. I am 140lb, 5' 6"…
