Your body likely released training associated water retention and/or your cortisol levels went down due to getting a bit more food and that triggered a loss of water weight.

The social features are of no import to me. So, why would you suggest the Garmin?
-
Never heard of this one. Going to have to look this up. Thank you.
-
I'm due February 18th so just over 20 weeks now.
-
isn't 112 pounds quite underweight for your height?
-
I love hearing about everyone's experience. I think I'm probably going to hang out at about 5-10 pounds above my normal weight and I guess that's okay since there is no way my suits will fit anyway with my boobs being as big as they are.

Shameless bump :)
-
Congrats on getting below PP weight!
-
I could totally see this happening to me--I'll be ultra conscious of when my LO drops feedings.
-
Then definitely trust your scale.
-
Gained 5--small reduction to 2500-2600 calories for a week or until that number comes down.
-
Wow! You're awesome! I could not do what you do--not in a million years.
-
This.

You'll find it...just give your body enough time to actually get used to the higher number. You can't assess what the right number is unless your body has a chance to stabilize. The initial weight gain will always be the mass of the extra food and once you're accounted for that you can see how much you're actually gaining.…

It's pretty hit or miss for me and likely depends on WHAT I ate not just how much. I am highly skeptical that your stomach stretching is the cause.
-
Just curious at why you weigh in every day...at least for the vast majority of people it seems to cause more mental distress than it's worth.

I'm 3 weeks post partum and haven't lifted HEAVY since before pregnancy. I don't know what I WANT to do so I'm just looking for some training regimens that others liked. I don't intend on following just any plan --there are just always resources that are undiscovered. Goals--increase strength, decrease fat (which I'm well…
-
Thank you. I hated strong lifts--it got boring fast although it is effective at increasing strength.

Delivery: 141-142 1 week PP: 123.6 2 weeks PP: 122 3 weeks PP: 118.4 GOAL: 110 Only 8.4 pounds from goal and I've been eating 2600-3000 calories a day for the last week and a half. I'm really shocked,

During the last trimester the baby is doing his most growing and trying to limit your weight gain could leave you discouraged and result in you not doing what's in the best interest of you and baby. Try not to put an artificial cap on your weight gain. Weight gained is not always fat gained--many people gain SEVERAL pounds…

I ate 2200-2500 calories or thereabouts from the beginning of pregnancy until the end. I lost most of the weight by 2weeks pp. I'm ~120 with a normal weight of 110 so I'm not a big person. I just followed the recommendations and ate to fuel myself and my baby.
-
I'm 2 weeks postpartum and 12 pounds from goal. Well, if I lose another 2 pounds by 1 month PP I'll have 10 to go and I assume that I'll lose half pound a week so it will take me until 6 months PP to be at goal. I'm sure I could lose faster but I don't want to get it in my head that it will happen faster--I'd rather…

I completely understand these feelings and totally feel the same. Hopefully the scale is nicer than you expect!

It's possible not to burn calories from breastfeeding. Milk has calories...your body is producing that milk, your LO is gaining from that milk. It could be possible that your body is retaining fluid or holding on to body fat due to increase prolactin levels but you are certainly burning calories from breastfeeding,

1 week pp: 123.6 (down 17.4) I've been walking rather slowly for the last few days. I stopped bleeding about 5 days ago and only get spotting on occasion. I did manage to develop mastitis, which has been rather painful. I had a fever, headache, and terrible body aches. Now, I'm on antibiotics for the nest 10 days. I'm not…

Yay...I can post with you ladies now. Pre-pregnancy and fertility treatments: 110 Last pregnancy weigh in: 141 Total gain: 32 pounds Goal weight: 110

I've had one and I've helped many a people overcome them. It is something to consider--notice I said DISORDERED EATING...not an eating disorder. There is a spectrum and if you've actually suffered from an eating disorder I'd think you'd realize that it is quite possible for an obsession with food to turn into something…
-
It's a very dangerous mindset to be in and CAN pave the way for disordered eating if it's not corrected. You we hungry and you ate--you should not feel disgusting for fueling your body. Please try to think rationally when these thoughts pop into your head. Food should not lead to shame and disgust, I've been where you are…

You doing great, weight gain isn't linear. If you look back 4 weeks you have only gained just under 4 pounds which is perfectly on track. Since your eating hasn't changed I wouldn't worry about what the scale says but I completely understand the dreaded stretch marks causing anxiety,

Pregnancy slows down your digestive system so you'll feel fuller longer. Try eating mixed nuts at night instead of a meal since they're unlikely to make you feel more bloated or full but they'll provide healthy fat for you and your little one.
