  • My wife is preggo... and is now craving Texas Toast and Chick-Fil-A like crazy... I hate saying 'no' because she is carrying my son! But I am NOT going to gain the 30lb I've lost thus far! I'm going to have to start giving her what she wants and I'll just eat something different... but then she feels bad and that's the…
  • I don't have a facebook, but I used my bands facebook and 'liked' your picture... you are now at 420!! Holla! (For those of you who know the awesomeness of 420!)
  • So me being tired all the time at work is a bad thing! I am, I guess, lucky because I don't have any sleep issues as you all have stated... but I DO have a Beagle puppy and 2 needy cats... so I wake up a few times throughout the night and I always feel like I only got an hour of sleep due to that... maybe I'll be kicking…

  • COD and Halo both grew out of their awesomeness about 4 years ago... I am however looking forward to the new Battlefield!!!!!!!!!!!! And I just got Portal 2, which is fun fun fun! Especially when playing with a buddy and you shoot one at their feet sending them to their death and piss them off! Ah the things games allow us…
  • You should edit the Original Post to have the new link
  • I've def read that it is good for diabetics... low GI rating. I'm going to have to compare a whole wheat with this and see what stacks up better for how I'm approaching things.
  • I would still track sodium... sodium, being a big cause of heart problems and joint issues... you need to keep it down.
  • The numbers didn't seem much higher to me on that site. If I take my MFP suggested calories (1,700/day) and add the amount of calories that I burn in a workout, it comes out to be really close to what the other site suggests... (little over 2,000/day). Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing, or do things differently than…
  • +1 For HRM... especially if your HR was near peak... a good 45 min workout for me on any cardio machine will put me around 600 cal burned... I don't think it's a stretch that you burned 800. I'm not a runner... had no idea that everyone thinks 100 cal/mile is average... on the elliptical I go for 20min with my HR in zone 2…
  • I look at mine as a game as well!! I like seeing how low I can make some of the numbers while trying to make others higher! It's a game of skill!!!!

  • Mrs. Dash is a favorite of my wife and I's!! They have something for any kind of food!

  • I added Sodium to my list that shows up on my 'food' page so that I can constantly monitor it. It's terrible for you!! If you buy chicken and cook it yourself, it's not bad on sodium... everything is going to have some though... Sodium is the reason I stopped drinking V8 juice... crazy how much is in a glass of that!

  • another good one, if you have the equipment. A small broom handle (round, wooden, 12" or so) with a hole drilled through the middle and a 3-ft length of nylon rope tied through the hole (so it can't slip back through) with a 2.5 or 5 lb weight tied to the other end of the rope. Just hold the stick sideways with both hands…
  • Same as you, I tend to not do wrist curls... I'm going to look into your grips and give them a try!! Thanks for the suggestion.
  • I'm a fan of the exercise holding the weight in your hand (which is resting on your thigh palm up) and letting it extend down then rolling it back up and flexing as hard as I can for a second, then slowly rolling back down etc... up and down, up and down ;-)
  • That's not quite scientific enough for me... :-) but I like that someone bought a domain name just to place one word in my face! Thanks to everyone that has attempted to give an answer and given their own personal experiences! I'm a fan of eating back my calories due to the built in deficit in my diet... it can be rather…
  • VERY doubtful... different providers will give you different answers though... if you want to be 100% sure, call them and ask what it would take. Maybe you will get lucky and they will say that is all they need is a signoff from a doctor that you need one. Easy as going in for a yearly and telling your dr. you want one and…
  • I have to really be booking it at a jogging pace to get over 150bpm... I agree with pchann... may have a faulty one.
  • I don't worry about interval training... I worry about my heart rate while on the elliptical. So long as I'm in my correct zone for what I'm trying to do, I just keep going at whatever resistance and pace I'm at.
  • Where can I get a ghost to eat?? Does it taste like chicken?? :-)

  • Wouldn't worry about it... protein is good for you... your body uses it for muscle recovery and can convert it to energy if needed... otherwise, it releases extra in your urine.

  • I take 4000 mg a day (GNC Total Lean)... Not a bad read if you are really curious: http://ezinearticles.com/?Weight-Loss-and-Side-Effects-of-CLA&id=3603679

  • Dang... the custom mixes sound good... but most are too high in Carb, Saturated Fats and Sodium for my liking on a one serving drink unless I'm completely replacing a meal! If you want to gain, Muscle Milk is the way to go... DELICIOUS and yes, it is on the carbier/fattier side, but that's what your body uses as energy and…
  • Still laughing at this every time I read it! On subject though, I will be receiving my Polar Ft60 on Saturday!!! I'm a little more of a fitness, program, tracking, extra features lover of things, so I went ahead and got the more expensive one to track everything I do... but I've heard nothing but good from the Ft7 for one…
  • Ha!!! naughty!!! You can't say **** on the forum! You could always use the Chinese version... like "Wang's Sporting Good's". :-) Good laugh of the day.
  • Good to know! I haven't got one yet, but was contemplating it a couple days ago. Boy would it be a nice surprise if I was the same way as you and eating too little!! Although I never really feel hungry, a little more 'cereal in my bowl' would be nice! :-)
  • We have really bad humidity here in Kansas City, MO. I sweat really easily as well... even compared to my friends, it takes me no time at all to start sweating just standing outside. I work in an office and literally start sweating by the time I walk the 50ft. to my car. My work around? Work out in a gym... climate…
  • I as well have switched to Almond instead of Soy. Mix my whey & Casein proteins with water and use Almond milk in my cereal and as a drink. I'm not allergic to regular milk, I just enjoy the benefits of the Almond milk and how much better it tastes!!
