the guy was probably trying to be helpful, it just came out wrong :) don't be afraid of the weight room. sometimes i get very shy in my gym's lifting area because i am the only woman who lifts there. also, i live in a relatively small city in china, so i am also the only white woman lifting there. i stick out like a sore…

i've tried this, since i got a free mini-bottle with a bottle of sunscreen. i don't have much cellulite to begin with, but it did make what i have seem less apparent. honestly, though, any moisturizer will do that. once you stop using it, your skin texture will go back to the way it was before. personally, i find this…

you already know that i think this, but it bears repeating: dayum, girl. that is one sweet, sweet squat-enhanced bum. i'm thinking i better take pics of my own bum progress...

i've had (pig's) brain in hot pot before! it's nice - like you described, a bit like scrambled eggs, and it mostly takes on the flavour of whatever you add to it. i would love to try a brain sandwich!!!

bumping coz i am SO making this later

sure, you can get it for free. i did. the whole p90 series, too, from the basic all the way to p90x+ :D torrents FTW ;)

hey OP! don't worry about the visibility/prominence of your veins. it's likely genetic and possibly due to thin skin! i am incredibly vascular; you can see the veins on my shoulders, chest, hips and legs very clearly... especially if i've worked out that day. it can be a little unsightly in winter (if you tend to be very…

i used to be a 36C... i'm a 34B now, though i no longer fill out those bras and am in the awkward limbo between an A cup and B cup ^_^;;; i actually LOVE that i am small-breasted now (though i was never gigantic before). camisoles! strapless dresses! adorable push-up bras! teenie bikinis! i don't have to worry about…

hoo boy! i've done two rounds of insanity, one of which was a p90x/insanity hybrid, and i had so so so much swelling going on, especially during the first month. i would pound water and massage my legs (esp. my quads) and that helped a little bit. recently started a new programme with my personal trainer and my legs were…

i love all the veggies!! ...save for three. lima beans, loofah squash, and white potatoes >.< lima beans because of the texture, loofah squash because to me it actually tastes like dirt, and white potatoes because i find them too mealy.

i see older folks walking on the treadmill backwards... *cringe* it's like watching a train wreck; you can't take your eyes off the scene. i am so afraid they will lose balance and hit their heads on the treadmill's power panel or something :$ as well, i saw a woman bring her four-year-old daughter into the health club…

over three years, i lost about 25 ~ 30lbs. at the start, i think i was a 36D. i'm a 34B now. i am actually much more comfortable at this size; my husband, well, he's a bit disappointed... :P

yikes, nearly 5'8" here and my wrist isn't 5.5 inches around... i am more or less at goal (~125lbs); just focusing on strength training now :)
-
i wouldn't think too much about the calories burned during sexual activity... i mean, you could wear an HRM, and that would be hilarious; "honey, we need to work harder, i'm not in the ZONE!" or "baby, we'd better slow it down, my HR is waaaay high!"

@msdevin89 - those come-hither eyes! those full lips! your shiny shiny hair <3 i couldn't pick just one...

i do yoga! i used to do it as my primary form of exercise, and now that i've been bitten by the strength training bug, i use yoga to round out my routine :) i realized a few months ago that i was losing flexibility in my shoulders and hips, so started doing about 2 hours of yoga per week. it's helped a lot! yoga is by no…

i think it's a great idea! but hold off until you get the green light from your son's pediatrician! well done to both dad and son who want to get in shape :D

i've been told i look like heather graham, several times, especially in recent years. i don't see it, personally! she's a very pretty lady... don't really think i come close :P

whoa, whoa, whoa. if i saw a spider of that size, i might pass out on a run. in china, i'll just come across the random person walking their dog without a leash. the big dogs are not an issue... the small, mean, afraid-of-everything ones are. they'll chase me or snap at my ankles >.< it definitely pushes me to run faster,…

oh my gosh! i love durian! eating it fresh is delicious, but there are soooo many other ways to try it :) my favourites: diuran ice cream durian mousse crepes durian milkshake mooncakes with durian filling (you can only get them at this time of year!!) sticky rice made with durian and coconut milk i think there are as many…

it's about 95 degrees F here outside of shanghai, china >.< the humidity is about 95%, though, so it actually feels a lot hotter. i think i need to hit the swimming pool!!

yep! i'm a teacher~~ during the past four years, i taught very young (ages 3 - 6) children in kindergarten and primary school. now i am an ESL teacher for adults. i love it! i've had stints teaching in colleges as well, but i really prefer ESL instruction.

once, i went to a really nice restaurant on my birthday. i paid in advance because it was a large group and i didn't want anyone worrying about money... welp, in one of the dishes there were several LIVE cockroaches. and i'm not talkin itty-bitty ones. i mean big-as-your-thumb-worse-than-a-horror-film cockroaches. they…

i agree with the above post! it's really hard for me to eat once the heat truly kicks in. i tend to eat everything cold, even rice with veg or spaghetti. i would say sandwiches are nice, maybe dip (such as hummus or white bean dip) with fresh veggies... but other than that, nothing seems appetizing when it's hot out >.<
