  • My previous clarificationI don't really mean girly, more like dainty. Like I can eat a rice cake with peanut butter and be fine. I've noticed he wants something a little more hearty.
  • No ****in **** food isn't gender specific, your smart *kitten* remarks aren't helpful. I already reworded my question for those who were still hung up "manly" and "girly" foods.
  • Oh wow, I've never heard of these before! Thanks, I'll check them out!
  • That's disrespectful.
  • He doesn't do a deficit. He used to be in shape and go to the gym a lot but now with school, working 60 hours a week and starting his own business, going to the gym or working out isn't on his list of priorities (even though it should be) so I try and make sure his lunch/snacks are healthy at the least.
  • I have. I tell him i'm going grocery shopping and what would he like for his lunches and he says, oh I dunno... and then lists a few things. Then when I look in the fridge, NONE of the things he said he wanted for lunches were eaten. I think he just needs more variety and doesn't really know what to get.
  • He has high cholesterol and blood pressure and I don't know if the sodium in the salami would be a good option. I could probably use turkey too.
  • In my experience, a woman who is being health conscious typically makes different snack choices as opposed to a 350lb man. Ya it's usually different type of things. Some carrot sticks and granola doesn't really cut it lol Thank you everyone for the suggestions, I've definitely found some great options I think he'll really…
  • I'm thinking salami with baby bell cheese, but that doesn't sound to healthy does it?? But then again it's better then a Big Mac.
  • I make him 2 different kinds of sandwiches, usually turkey and then an egg salad one (which is his favorite) and include some kind of crunch, like almonds or wheat things etc and some kind of fruit, like a banana or cutie. He eats his lunch/dinner before he goes to work and then takes a "lunch" to eat. It's a bit hectic.…
  • I don't really mean girly, more like dainty. Like I can eat a rice cake with peanut butter and be fine. I've noticed he wants something a little more hearty. He works 12 hour shifts so I need LOTS of options for him or he gets tired of it and goes to a drive thru. We eat things like string cheese, snap peas and trail mix…
  • Here is a good chart showing how many calories are in what types of hard alcohol. I like straight tequila with a few limes squeezed in and maybe a splash of cranberry juice for flavor. http://www.collegedrinkingprevention.gov/collegestudents/calculator/alcoholcalc.aspx
  • Feel free to add me, and my friends. Everyone is very supportive!
  • Hey! 23 years old living in Cali. I've got about 40-50 lbs to drop! Anyone feel free to add me!
  • One pan chicken fajitas! Cut up the onions and bell peppers ( I use all the colors) and whatever else you like in them with the chicken and throw it in a greased dish. I use Mrs.Dash Fiesta Lime seasoning since it's like taco seasoning with No sodium and MSG. bake at 350 for about 35 min (or until chicken is done) and it's…
  • I just started a lifting class at my gym and I LOVE it. Not if I could only find a remedy to get rid of this sore feeling lol
  • ME TOO! Today will be my 2nd time taking it this week and i'm honestly a little nervous about how it's gunna go. I'm SO SORE and stiff!!
  • Phentermine is very bad for your heart! I've personally seen a few people be rushed away via ambulance because they took them. I take Zantrex. It's Phentermine free and it helps give me an edge. Does the pill do all the work for me, NO. but it does give me a little boost. You need to drink LOTSSSSS of water with them.
  • 500 calories a day is NOT the way to go. You might lose the weight fast, but it won't last. My doctor suggested I try to South Beach Diet because it's safe and healthy
  • You do burn calories lifting weights. I take a calls at my gym called Bodypump and the MFP app says it burns 500 something calories for the 60 minutes
  • I get your meaning, but you shouldn't compare yourself with others.
  • ME! My husband and I will be TTC in aug. 2014 and I'm here to lose some of the weight before then so I can have a perfectly round lil bump.
  • NOO!!! Don't give up! The time will pass anyways, might as well get healthy. Like everyone says, muscle weighs more then fat so that could be whats happening. I agree with everyone else too, sodium intake makes a huge difference. I only weight once a week in the Am after I use the bathroom. Your body could be fighting the…

  • Was always small/average in high school. Met my husband 6 years ago and put on a little "romance weight" from all the wine&dining. I became pregnant earlier this year and unfortunately miscarried and just sunk into a depression eating everything I could get my hands on. I'm now back and ready to make a change for when we…
