Great first week! Keep up the good work.

I'm the reason my family and friends hike confidently in the Alaska wilderness. They ALL know they can outrun me.

Loved one with friends. The more friends, the better.

This year, I got my mom Bejeweled 3 and Dad got a package of smoked salmon.

Mine is 14 also and her socks don't even match each other anymore. As for what's "in style" for kids, if someone tells my daughter that something she is wearing is stylish, she immediately replaces it. "Fashion" is nothing more than a bunch of people sitting in a room deciding what they want to sell this year. And the…

1997, a friend made my dress. Sorry it's a little blurry.

It's hanging in my closet. At the very least, when my daughter gets married, we'll make a ring bearer's pillow out of it or something.

The good news is that by nine or ten, they can give themselves a bath or shower, and by 16, they even do it willingly. But they'll probably still always drag mud into the house.

When I was a teenager - and a size 8, I had to ask my mom and her best friend to zip me into a freshly washed pair of jeans. It literally took all three of us. It's also one of my funniest memories, but today if my own daughter asked for the same help, I would throw those jeans in the garbage instantly.

Thanks for sharing - my daughter and sister will love this.

We met at church. He had just moved into our area to work for his grandfather, and started coming to the same church his grandfather attended. I invited him to join me and several other singles for a few get-togethers and we hit it off. We will celebrate our 15th anniversary on Thursday.

Log all my calories everyday and finish under goal. Establish a workout routine - at least 4 days a week of hard work. Lose 8 pounds.

A friend made mine - it cost about $100. Mostly, I just replied because you looked lonely here. :flowerforyou:

I got asked that question a couple times. Once it was because I was wearing an empire waist and looked it, the other time was because my landlord was listening through our walls.

Yep - cream wafers. My mother has made them every Christmas for as long as I can remember. I make them, too, and had a specific request for them this year - SO yummy! I also make buckeyes, old fashioned sugar cookies, candy cane cookies, stuffed stockings and iced cinnamon chip cookies. My 12-year-old son makes the ginger…

Sarsaparilla root - take a capsule a day throughout the month, then up the dosage to three or four a day during your period. It is amazing! Even if you forget the capsules throughout the month, it will help if you take it during.

Bump - I want to see everyone's results, and hopefully, I'll be posting my own someday.

^^ This - my son's class got free pizza for lunch one day because their class had the best poster on the drug they were assigned. And we all know most boyfriends go to their girlfriends' houses to study.

Dancing in the rain, and jumping through the huge mud puddles - I'll be 40 in November and rarely walk around a good puddle.

I was gonna post this one - my fave.

Totally cool! I LOVE flirting with my husband!

When a "baby" from my church married my brother in law. She now has four kids, and I still feel old.

7 days is not going to hurt him. I personally would have said it as a balance to all the junk he DID eat on vacation, but I'm a mom, not a trainer. At sixteen, he is old enough to weigh pros and cons, and do his own research - ask him if he likes that choice and what he thinks about it - but DON'T ask him how it makes him…
