Does prune juice have iron? I'm very iron deficient. So much that they have put me on iron supplements, but I'm trying to find ways to boost it and keep it level so I can eventually stop taking the supplements. They make my stomach hurt!

It's never too late!!! You are still young and vibrant! Go for it!

Thank you!!!

Thank you! I am eager to earn that 50 pounds lost....It's so hard not to be irritated when I was so close to a big goal and to have illness get in the way. :)

I'm so glad I'm from PA and I don't have to put my weight on my DL!!!!

I get that way too. I just asked my husband to pick me up some powerade zero. I don't make a habit of drinking things besides water or milk on a regular basis, but when you are working out or when it's been as humid as it has been (I'm from near Erie, PA) sometimes we just need some extra electrolytes. If your sugar #'s…

@MireyGal76 You are obviously dedicated and a hard worker! Way to go!

My goal weight currently is to get to 299. I've never weighed below 300 pounds in my adult life. After I get to 299, I will set another "short term, but long term goal." I have no idea where I will end up as a final goal. All I know is that after starting at 360 pounds, that 299 is a great start. I'll work on it 50 pounds…

I use the Walk Away the Pound Videos by Leslie Sansone too! I usually do 1 or 2 miles. She also has a kick boxing one that is fun. Some of them are a little dated, but it's still fun!

I have no clue about the healthiness of if, but I did see some carob at Norrisville Grocer today! :) I was inches from buying it, but decided not to.

saving this one! :)

Sometimes trying to simplify things makes it more managable. A "brick by brick" approach. What is your next healthy choice going to be? What about after that? Just keep it up and soon you will have all kinds of momentum!

Great pictures! :) Hard work is hard...but it is so rewarding.

How close if your hrm to mfp? I don't have one so I'm clueless about them. Is the burn usually higher or lower than what MFP says?

I love swimming! And I really enjoy Walk Away the Pounds Videos. I know a lot of people thing they are annoying, but they work for me! I especially love the Walk and Kick one where they do kick boxing moves. I enjoy biking soooo much (both indoors and outdoors) and I love pretty much any kind of workout with my friends! :)
-
Thank you everyone for your kind words! :) They encouraged me a lot and even made me get a little choked up. Thanks so much!
-
Can't wait to try this! :)

My automatic response to pain is nausea...makes for interesting workouts for myself. I usually am ready to throw up by the end of any workout, but if there is leg pain involved its way worse. But, that's just the way my body deals with pain...

Really proud of you Dawn! :) I'm glad we're buddies!

This is a really big struggle for me. I weigh 330 lbs. My husband ways 145. *sigh* He's got a very nice muscular build (toned, not ripped, but very nicely toned) and then there's me. I really struggle with this. I way 2.5 times my husband....

I don't use a panini maker...I just a grill pan and a big heavy grill press. But, I have my little kitchen and every gadget has to perform at least 5 tasks to stay put! :) But, I hope you get your wish!!! :)

Thanks for your answer Peter! :) Sometimes I think no one sees my posts on here! ;)

For me personally, when I "low carb" I cut out all the yucky sugary food that makes me achy and tired. However, my low carb is like 80-100 a day and not like 40. I still eat high fiber/protein tortillas that are made from whole wheat, and I eat some fruit every day.

I keep hoping my feet will lose some. I have the chubbiest feet. Good job! :)
-
I love the fiber content!!! Do they taste really "beany." I want to give them a try, but I'm pretty nervous....
-
sounds great! :)

sounds yummy!!!

Amy...you have to make sure your bowl is covered, that you use no water, and cook it for 4-5 mins. Is your microwave high powered, because that may be the problem? It really is good...its worth the redo! ;)

We spent one of our most fun V-day's at Chuck E Cheese with our kids. ( We are romantic the other 364 days of the year! ;) ) It was fun, because the store was pretty empty and it was nice to have that family time!

I do a 1/2 serving of pistachios, a cheese stick and and fruit sometimes. Or fruity greek yogurt. Anything with protein helps me make it through!
