I mix it with my green smoothies in the morning. The strawberry and pineapple give it a nice flavor!

You are supposed to consume your body weight x .82 in grams of protein. I am 255lbs and on average I consume 240-270g of protein daily.

Another vote for lifting. I started off thinking I would run miles and miles on the treadmill. I didn't realize I was netting under 1000 calories in for the day which is a huge no no. I gave up the treadmill except for when I do eat over my goal, and now stick to strictly lifting and lifting heavy with a calorie deficit.…

Those flavor drops rock!! They even have a sweet tea one at wally world that is petty good too! Try drinking your water in a glass with a straw....it seems to go much faster! =)

New Orleans is a great spot to visit....you could spend weeks there and not run out of things to do. Then drive to Biloxi, Ms and visit the gulf coast

If you have access to a pool, that would be the least stressful on your joints and would easily get your heart rate going. Honestly what I did at first was a calorie deficit with next to no exercise. I lost 20lbs just doing that. Once I felt better I started jogging on the treadmill with patella straps to support my knees.
-
If you lost 4 lbs in a few weeks....I wouldn't change a thing. That is a healthy weight loss!
-
I LOVE water so it is all I drink all day long.....I drink 250-280ozs a day
-
hot!
-
on a normal day I start off with a liter of water when I wake up. I normally drink 10-12 Dasani bottles during the work day then another liter of water with dinner or bed time. That averages out to 250-280 ozs daily

sautéed spinach with lump crab meat and redfish is amazing!! I also almost daily use it in a green smoothie to start the day off. I do several handfuls of baby spinach with some mp orange creamsicle protein powder, almond milk, Greek yogurt and granola....its around 600 cals with 75g of protein!
-
^^^^^^^ I agree at right when I am finished.....i'd much rather under count calories burned instead of overshooting. It will give you a slight cushion on your calories in and a better chance to create a deficit!

I actually looked into the Amiigo months ago, got on the waiting list, but still no word on when actual production will be. I now think I'm gonna wait for the Samsung Gear Fit fitness band and pair it with the new Galaxy S5 with the S Health app
-
Male: Iron man, Carnage, Wolverine Female: Black Widow, Black Cat, Ms. Marvel
-
I use the same patella bands and they do wonders.....they truly are a huge help in preventing knee pains when heavy lifting or jogging
-
The MP3 player is a great idea...I usually plug my ear buds into my phone and jam out to some Pandora on my phone.

Must be a trainer at Planet Fitness giving this "advice"

Polar is the only brand I would trust. I personally have the FT7 and love it....its basic and very accurate. If you are looking for all the bells and whistles with training programs then look into the FT40 or FT60!

The main benefit I've found with a HRM is to track calories burned. I used mine to also track my resting heart rate. It was actually motivation to start off at 92 and over the weeks watch it fall into the low seventies! A scale is a must....it is quick to use and makes a big difference on how much food you truly "think"…
-
greek yogurt and quest bars
-
Feel free to add me...and that goes for anyone! I'm all about helping and supporting each other! I'm close to 40 days logging and try to get on here as much as I can!
-
We gotta keeper!!!! =)
-
you're welcome!! I think it is the H7 HRM....seems pretty cool!!
-
Got an Android so no Polar beat app, but I do have and love my FT7! once you set up the basic info you are ready to run...press the right center button to start training, wait for the HMR to register, then hit the center button once more. One big key is to wet your chest where the strap goes with the sensor. It is super…
