  • I haven't checked in a while, but I'm still moving!
  • I'm up for this challenge...
  • Alrighty, I'm in! I haven't done this type of challenge before, so I'm excited. SW: 322.4 CW: 243.2 GW for April: 236 UGW: 164 How do you plan to achieve your personal goal? Eating less and moving more. I'm doing a 5K on April 20th, after having not done one for a while. Time to get back in shape. 4/5: 4/12: 4/19: 4/26:…

  • I have only lost 62 pounds...but I have gone from a 26/28 to 18/20 in clothes! I am more confident. I now allow myself to experience things like roller coasters without fear of embarrasment. I enjoy exercise and the feeling it gives me. The necklace I wore for my wedding now has 2 inches of space instead of being a choker.…
  • I've had my bodybugg for over a year now, and I love it. It works really well when you use it. My biggest difficulty with it is that the food diary doesn't have as many foods listed as MFP does, so inputting what you eat can be time consuming. For the most part, I use it just to track my activity and then I put that…
  • I am definitely in. May 1 - 3.1 miles
  • Ok, I didn't make it to Zumba Class today, BUT I get in some exercise...on the Wii, I started with Just Dance 2, moved on to Zumba, and then EA Active 2. I'm worn out but I feel accomplished.
  • In case you were wondering, I did manage to get my exercise in yesterday. I played Just Dance 2 with my kids. I had some fun, and got a workout in....it was fun. And then...I passed out. My work schedule is killing me...its hard to get up at 5:30 to go to work every day when you've been working nights for a while. Hoping I…
  • Hello all. I'm not a newbie, but I am restarting after some time off the site. Feel free to add me if you like, I'm always looking for new friends P.S. - I've started a group...100-Day Challenge...to kick off the New Year. Feel free to join the group, we're only at Day 4.
  • Wait, why didnt anyone tell me this before. I should be completing my diary at like 8AM every day. :)
  • I'm in the same boat, and I can only recommend staying committed to the site daily for a long time. I know for me, I have to watch and be faithful to the eating, and the exercise for a long time before I can even attempt to try it on my own.
  • A lot of adults around here say please, thank you, yes sir, no ma'am, BUT we live in a military town. However, among our youth, it is much less common, unfortunately.
  • Take your own advice...don't be sorry, be better. You can't change the past, and all you can do is move forward. Make your next meal a healthy one. If you want to eat/drink something extra, add some exercise. Forgive yourself and move forward. This journey is taken one step, one meal, one day at a time.
  • I love Peach Mango too. I've tried all flavors except Sweet Tea, and they are all ok. My least favorite is probably Fruit Punch.

  • I started my journey at 317 lbs. I signed up for MFP at 290 on March 11th, but I was just browsing. When I began actively using MFP I was about 292. This was nearly a month ago (March 21st) and to-date, I've lost 5 pounds. It's been slow going for me, but every day it gets a little better. I feel much better than I did 30…
  • I prefer to work out on an empty stomach. When I eat shortly before, it makes me ill. However, I just recently had a nutritionist tell me that you should eat something within 30 minutes of waking up. So I've been trying to make sure that I at least have some carbs for energy, either a banana, or a mini bagel with peanut…
