I have only lost 8 pounds BUT

I can now do 40 pushups (on my feet) when before the most I could do was 10, on my knees
I can now make it through 2 back-to-back intense cardio classes with high energy, and motivate others, when before I struggled with an hour of zumba
    I am now a size 4-6 when before I was a size 8-10

I have only lost 23 pounds.

    BUT!

I am now walking without a cane.
I just bought a smaller belt because I ran out of holes on the old one.
I've gone from shirt size 2X down to XL.
I can now walk for 2 miles and run for short bursts.

I have only lost 8lbs BUT
    - i am at my lightest ever!
    - my hip and waist measurements are at their smallest ever
    - i've no longer got super flabby arms - THERE IS MUSCLE IN THERE, I CAN SEE IT WHEN I MOVE!
    - i've got a new found love for exercise/gym times
    - i can walk 1.5 miles in 20 mins and don't break a sweat
    - my thighs don't rub together anymore
    - i can feel abs under my last bit of belly fat
    - i don't get rolls when i sit down
    - I LOVE EATING HEALTHY but i still allow myself days where i have a chocolate muffin or a takeaway, LIFE WOULD BE BORING OTHERWISE :D

    I have only lost 7.8 pounds...BUT

I have more energy than I have had in years.
I'm proud of my daily Zumba workout.
    My face already looks thinner!
My pants (size 20) are already starting to feel loose.
    My confidence is building.
I am more aware of the world around me, because I'm not drugged up on binge foods.
I am more aware of what my body needs throughout the day.
I have a better understanding of things - what I like to eat, what nutrients I lack, how much I can push my body in a workout..
I am learning to enjoy my food as part of my day, not all of my day.
I still obsess about food - but I'm getting a lot better, and I do not feel like food is ruling my day!

    I have only lost 62 pounds...but

I have gone from a 26/28 to 18/20 in clothes!
    I am more confident.
I now allow myself to experience things like roller coasters without fear of embarrasment.
I enjoy exercise and the feeling it gives me.
The necklace I wore for my wedding now has 2 inches of space instead of being a choker.
I can play basketball with my kids for hours instead of minutes.

I could go on and on, but I'll stop there. The only bad thing is that my wedding rings don't fit anymore. Eventually I'll either have them resized or get new ones.

AWESOME thread for motivation. Best of luck to you all.

I feel I can go the extra mile to reach my goal.
    I am stronger.
    I have less shoulder pain.
I believe I can be a fit fruit and yogurt kind of person.
I make choices today that make me happier and healthier today and tomorrow.

I have only lost 63 pounds but

I have lost 3 dress sizes (UK20 down to UK12-14 which is a US10, not bad for 5 foot 11)
I can sit on the floor comfortably with my neices and nephews and not get cramp/pins and needles, and spring back up without having someone help me lol
My thighs don't touch each other at all when I walk

I have only lost 140 pounds (not all through MFP) but my knees hurt less, I look better and I can work out without having to stop lots. I am not there yet but I have done well even if it has taken me 7 years (with a three and a bit year gap due to pregnancy and being lazy and preoccupied).

I have "only lost" 11 lbs since May (nothing at all in last 7 weeks) BUT......

I quit smoking and can run 3 miles straight
    My waist is 3.5" smaller
    My belly is 2.5" smaller
    My hips are 3" smaller
    Each thigh is 1.5" smaller
I am wearing the clothes that used to hide in the back of closet

I am smiling as I type this becuase it is pick me up seeing as how the scale isn't moving but seeing those inches disappear!

Great topic to motivate folks! Thanks!

I have lost only 50 pounds BUT:

    Am now a size 2 or 4 instead of a size 14!
Can now wear small tops, dresses and pants!
I have more energy than I ever had in my 20s
I make healthy decisions for myself every day
I actually WANT to be active instead of dreading it. I feel awful when I don't move at least once a day!
I am mindful of the food I put into my body and the energy I expend!
I try new things all the time. I'm not afraid to try any new physical activities.
I love shopping. I don't buy shoes and purses anymore because clothes fit!
I can do a headstand and a handstand
I can see my ribs, but it's a good thing!
I can see/feel my hip bones no problem.
I can wear a two-piece bathing suit if I want to. (Well, anyone can, but now I am not afraid to)
I WANT to quit smoking now and know I'm ready
People call me skinny. I used to snort because I haven't been skinny since I was 10.
I weigh less than my husband for the first time ever. (By 2 pounds but I'll take it. I can wear his pants!)
I can beat him arm wrestling (left-handed, but hey, I'll take it!)
My bloodwork is ACES (no more high tri-glycerides or cholesterol)
My doctor is pleased with me, for once!

Great thread... love reading about everyone's amazing transformations!

I have only lost 7 lbs., but...

I just started to use MFP again 11 days ago.
I'm motivated by this small change and I'm focused on losing another 7 lbs. And another 7. And another 7. And another 7. And...
My primary form of exercise (walking) is helping me get more talk time in with friends and family.
I already feel more energetic and I want to continue to ride this high!
I feel like I'm almost ready to lower my daily calorie goal.
For as many times as I've said it, I mean it this time when I say I'm in it to win it!

I'm stronger than the eating disorder that used to run my life.
I have hip and collar bones that stick out.
I have a lot more energy
I love going to the gym
I'm setting a good example for my daughters
I have lost A LOT of inches
    I am a lot healthier.
    I'm happier....

most of all i can trust myself to make the right choices and know that i can have mess ups and still keep moving forward. life is not about being perfect.
