I've only lost 2 lbs so far with MFP but... (6 lbs total)
I don't crave (or even want) fast food.. already!
I have been craving veggies all this week!
I can walk a mile in under 20 minutes when it used to wind me just to walk to the mailbox.
I can walk with my large dog, even when he's excited and wants to walk *me* lol.
I look forward to my work (I work outside, and walk a fair bit for it), even in the hot summer heat.
I don't sweat as much.
I am getting more motivation from threads like this and seeing all of the great stories!
I am not looking down a little tunnel with a pinhole light at the end for my goal weight. I look at where I will weigh next week, or next month and get excited about it .

I have only lost 7 pounds, but I...
can already see and feel that my jeans are looser on me.
am proud of myself for making the right nutrition choices on a daily basis.
feel more energized and now looking forward to working out as opposed to dreading it.
forgot that I even have IBS after a week of eating right. (sorry if TMI, lol)
feel confident that I can ultimately reach my goal and become the person I want to be.

I have only lost 25 lbs, but
nothing has changed!!! HELP!!!!
LIAR! Think hard. Something has got to be different in your life.
I eat the same... My clothes are the same fit... and I still sleep most of the day or play video games. The only thing that has changed is I exercise a little bit more. I don't understand why I haven't lost any size in dress pants.
Then what's with the picture in your profile, showing off a pair of jeans too big? Besides, you look fabulous and happy.
My mom bought those size 12 jeans, but sadly even though they look big they fit the same...0 -
I've only lost 19 pounds, but I can wear just about every pair of my old jeans that have been stuck in a box in my closet for over a year, and I can fit into a pair of capris I bought back in 2010, wore a few times, and had to box up only a few months later. I also feel much more fit, and I'm enjoying considering a 2.5mi bike ride "an easy ride" instead of "so far!"0

I have only lost 24 pounds on MFP ...45 total BUT !
1. Im size 6 not 12
2. I wear my pre-pregnancy clothes
3. I can wear tighter shirts without crying over my belly
4. I have more energy
5. I cook everyday and its healthy !!!!!!!
6. I will be able to wear bikini next summer and look hot ( unless i get pregnant again lol )0 -
I have only lost 24 pounds, but....
I am down from a tight size 12 jean to a comfortable size 10
I am halfway to my goal
I am in better shape than I have ever been
I have the confidence to take dance classes again (and perform infront of hundreds of people)
I am 34 inches smaller
I enjoy exercising more than sitting on the couch
I make better choices EVERY DAY that benefit me and my health
I FEEL SEXY
I stopped the negative thoughts and berating myself everytime I slip up
I have definition in my arms and back that I never had before
I am now less convinced that Jillian Michaels is trying to kill me, and more convinced she is trying to help
I am smaller than I was at my wedding, and this time I will not be finding any of my lost pounds

I have only lost 9 lbs, but I......
am lighter now than i was before
I lost 9bs in one month with sticking to my calorie plan
Can avoid bad foods and choose a healthy one
Can now wear my old tops without the hint of bulges that used to show before
Can discipline my self to move my butt and workout unlike before i'd rather choose to sleep
Can see my curves now
Most Importantly --- I gain confidence and i am sticking to my weightloss journey with the help of my MFP family .0 -

I have only gotten rid of 23 lbs but...
I just got married in february and I tried on my wedding dress last night and I didn't need a corset to make it zip up! ( even with the corset it was a tight fit)
I went from a 2x to an XL top and am down one pant size!
I feel more attractive!
My confidence is higher!
I can say no to all the temptations at work...every time!
I can go for 1 hour on the elliptical instead of 15 min like when I first started!
I finally feel like I can do this and have the motivation to get to my goal!

I LOVE this thread!
I have only lost 5 pounds but:
- My skirts and running belt are getting loose
- my co-workers have commented on my weight loss
- I am keeping up with my Marathon training group and ran 14 miles last Saturday
- I can feel how much stronger my core is in yoga class
- I am getting more complements on my smile :flowerforyou: (because I am feeling so good!)
- I am getting checked out a lot more
- I feel slimmer!
- I am tracking my macros and getting enough protein is my major food choice motivator
- I work out 5 days a week and sometimes twice because I WANT to run AND do Zumba :noway:
- I run even when I don't feel like it
- I sweat MORE (when I work out)
Most importantly: I feel so good! I am so proud of what this body can do!0 -
I have only lost 18 pounds but...
I can wear some pants in my closet that I couldn't button two months ago.
I'm actually jogging a little (week 3 of C25K).
I'm enjoying cooking new, healthier recipes for my family.
My husband says he can now really see a change in my body.
I'm proud of myself for finally taking control of this aspect of my life.
I feel stronger and more confident.
I've inspired three coworkers to start exercising.0 -
I have only lost 38lbs, but...
-I now wear a 14 in jeans( and very close to a size 12), instead of a 20!
-I wear medium-large in shirts, instead of 2X!
-my double-chin is gone!
-I have muscle definition in my arms and shoulders!
-I can see my collar bone!
-My knees no longer hurt when standing up!
-My feet are shrinking and can fit into shoes I haven't worn in years!
-I can workout for an hour or more without feeling like I'm going to die!
-I can run around with my 3yr old!
-I like the way my *kitten* looks in jeans again!
-No longer disgusted with photos of myself!
-I'm feeling more energized than I have in a long time!0 -
I have only dropped 26 lbs but...
I am buying 16/18 instead of 20/22
I smile when I step on the scale rather than cringe
I actually wore spandex work-out pants in public!
I'm able to run the hill with my son at football practice♥
My 8 year old daughter tells me every day that she's proud of me♥
I had to give away a pile of jeans because they were too big
My sister and I are on this journey together and we're rockin' it♥♥0 -
I have only lost 12 lbs, but...
- last night I was able to fit nicely into some skinny jeans I could barely squeeze into a few months ago
- my cardiovascular endurance has vastly improved
- my stomach is finally starting to lose the "pouch"
- my mental health and self esteem is in a really good place
- I feel happier and more energetic0 -
I have only lost 42 pounds but...
- i went from at tight 18 to 14
- can now jog for minutes at a time and not be horribly out of breath
- i am starting to accept all the compliments ive been getting
- im feeling muscles that i didnt know were there
- i have a collarbone!
- i have learned to accept help and realize i dont have to do this on my own
- have seen how many people there are going through the same thing and have never been more inspired then by the people on this site, so much inspiration!
- am making some progress on learning to love myself and not beat myself up when im not perfect and make mistakes
- no longer turn down friends offers for a walk, workout
- even though im struggling, i am not giving up. I was perfect for 4 months and lost that 40lbs in that time and now im struggling to get that determination back like i had and as much as i may falter as of late, i have faith that believing my dedication to stay on track and getting the support i need from all you wonderful people will get me to my goals. You only fail if u stop trying, and as long as it may take me, i will NOT give up this time

I have only lost 70 lbs but....
I am now a size 10 instead of a size 18/20
I have muscle coming through instead on blobs of flab
I Can wear a size Med shirt instead of a XL/1X
I can run 2.5 miles straight at a ok speed wereas before i could barely run .25 of a mile without dying.
I have confidence and love to shop and before i didnt wanna leave the house or look in the mirrior
People make me smile daily from the compliments about me being skinny, before i felt horrible.
Minimal back fat, i can wear tight shirts that make me feel sexy.
Most importantly, I am learning to love myself!0 -

I've only lost 13 pounds
But I can bend over easier
I can walk to the mail box without being winded.
I have tightened the belt on my pants.
My shirt size went from 3x to 1x
I have more energy.
I don't feel bloated.
I have given up junk food, fast food and pop.
I know I am on the right track. And I am doing this for me.

I have only lost 39 lbs BUT...
I have gone from size 20 to size 14.
I have lost more than 20 inches.
I look forward to my exercize class.
I can wear some of my fav suits that were packed away in the closet upstairs.
I had to change the finger I had my wedding ring on.
My husband likes it when I wear dresses...and he has started patting my butt more when I walk by!0 -
I have only lost 27 lbs according to MFP pal but had lost 5 before starting that, so I have lost 33 lbs.
Now I can wear a size 8 instead of a twelve.
My legs have some definition
I can wear my daugther's clothes from before she left for college
I am being told I am skinny for the first time in 15 years.

I can bike for 15km without stopping for a rest
My jeans are no longer too tight
I have one fewer chins than when I started

I've only lost 30lbs (3 on MFP), But....
I no longer crave fast food.
I LIKE veggies now.
I crave flavor instead of greasy things
Love my new jeans.
Love being able to get on my horse without a mounting block.

I have shed only 56 pounds BUT:
I AM DOING INSANITY!! I NEVER could've done this a year ago, or even three months ago!
And all of my "thin" clothes are getting way too big.0 -
I have only lost 114 lbs, but
I've gained confidence
I've worked hard to get where I'm at
I wear size 2XL or size 24W instead of 5X pants
I wear size 3XL shirts intead of 5X (sorry boobs have NOT gone anywhere)
My wedding rings fit and I haven't worn them in 10 years or more.
Someone put bones in my butt cause now I can feel them when I sit down
I can sleep on my stomach again (*sigh* it's so wonderful)
I don't think about eating every minute of everyday
I can turn down sugar filled items and not regret even one minute of it

I have read this whole thread and it was totally worth it!
I have only lost 15 lbs (12 on here) but...
*I went from wearing about a 14 pants to a 12 but they are falling off of me now so I should move to a 10.
*My M T-shirts that I wear to work out in are getting so loose that they fall down over my but and make my legs feel restricted when I run so I don't wear them for running now.
*My upper arms are starting to show some muscle definition where it was just my forearms before.
*I wear spandex type running pants and only feel a little self conscious about my tummy (thank you c-sections) and not my butt and legs.
*I don't feel so bad when I look in the mirror
*I can add calories pretty well in my head without looking at cal info most of the time (I always check my work but I don't have too many big surprises when I enter my food).
*When I eat chocolate it's because I want to now and not because I know that it's in the house. (That is huge for me!)
*Aslso (editted to add) that now I can run over six miles (going for 7 Friday morning) at one time now without stopping when 1 mile was a huge deal in the past! Warrior Dash on 09/09/2012

* I'm a graduate of the C25K program when I couldn't run for 60 seconds before
* I'm able to keep up with the 30 DS
* I'm starting to feel pride in myself that I didn't have before
* My clothes are looking better on me!
* I don't look at exercise like a chore anymore
* I LOVE LOVE LOVE healthy eating
* I don't miss 90% of the crap I used to eat
* I'm way more active
* and MOST IMPORTANTLY - I'm happy0 -

I am obsessed with feeling my collar bones...lol
I feel the best I have felt my entire adult life
I feel PRIDE in myself
and BEST of ALL
I have helped my family get healthier. My kids and my husband are following my example. My 8yr old does 30 day shred with me and loves it , my overweight teenager is eating healthier and getting more active, they all ask to go for walks instead of sitting to watch a movie, etc.0
