I am the "careful eater". I'm getting better since I stopped logging my food, but I used to plan my day out so my macros would come out spotless. I mean, put the food in the diary, check my macros and if it wouldn't line up I wouldn't eat it. However, since I stopped logging this has become less of an issue. I also would…

Feel free to add me. Helps if you put EM2WL in the message so I know who you are. :)

Love this! Enjoy your squat rack!
-
You look amazing! I love stories like this. Bumping so more people see!

Kiki and Lucia, You ladies are amazing! Thank you for everything you do. I, for one, know that without EM2WL I still would be struggling and living with my ED. Thank you for getting the word out and being the amazing people you are. You have truly made an impact on many.

Congrats! I love that list. You may have stopped gaining scale weight, but you certainly haven't stopped gaining wonderful NSVs.

I would recommend that you start with a reset, as well. Make sure you read the stickies about what to expect during a reset and find some others on here that are resetting. :) I didn't do a reset until I was further into the EM2WL program, but I wish I would have done one at the beginning. Good luck!

First off, ((Hugs)). I'm not one of your friends on here, but you seem like you could really use a hug. Second, I tend to agree with Haybales. Maybe you need to rethink your calories and eat extra if you workout for that 3rd day, but not have it planned into your cal intake. Hope things straighten out for you soon.

I went about it backwards. I first did my 15% cut from TDEE, then decided to do the metabolic reset. In hindsight I wish I would have just done the reset first, for reasons that the poster above me noted. I was at a VLCD for years before I found EM2WL and the metabolic reset was really very beneficial to me from a mental…

Are you "netting" 1500 calories or is that your total intake? If it's your total intake, I suspect that your calories are too low.
-
I agree. Step it up to at least moderate. I lift heavy 3x/week for an hour at a time and I maintain on moderate. So I would say moderate at the low end. If you don't feel like you qualify to bump up to the next level but do more than moderate, just tack an extra couple hundred cals onto the moderate number. :) ETA: to be…

Feel free to add me. I currently eat around 2500/day and never eat less than 1900. I love eating! ETA: my diary is open to friends.

I'm feeling focused at the moment, but last winter your post described me to a T.

I'm currently doing my first bulk. Feel free to add.

Don't let it get to you. At 7 y.o. she would probably think I was old. My 5 y.o. cousin was talking about how old he was and then started talking about other ages. When he got to my age (22 @ the time), he proclaimed that "22? That's ooooold. That's ANCIENT!" Just gotta laugh it off. Great job on your run! :flowerforyou:

I won't quote @crocatilla's whole post, but I agree with everything she said. I also struggled with upping my cals. I just had to jump right in. I made my goal for the week to hit my calories. It may take awhile to get used to, but you can do it! Also, visit the em2wl.com website and the Facebook page. The testimonials…

HAHA! <-- runs away to log the 0.2 cals I burned typing that!

Not everyone is "hating". Some are just trying to share their experience. I eat about 1900-2300 calories/day. That's what works for me. I used to eat less, but have had more success with eating more. Everyone has to make their own decisions based on what works for you. For most people 1200 is actually the bare minimum they…

Be proud of your legs. They look great to me! I also have big calves. I have trouble finding boots that fit me. I have a pic of my calves in my profile pics. I used to hate my legs, but I've come to love them. They help me lift heavy things, etc.

I used Scooby and have had success with it. But, as the poster above said, you have to figure out what's best for your body.
-
Are you talking about eating at your current maintenance for a bit? When I did, I just ate how I always do. Just made portion sizes a little larger, ate more calorie dense foods (nuts, etc.), and in general ate a little more. Have a great dinner tonight!

 Thanks for sharing! You look fantastic and your mindset has completely changed. That is great! "I still struggle with the microwave mentality from time to time. Thinking I should be lifting crazy amounts and have a six pack already" And ME TOO, girl! It's so easy to fall into that trap occasionally. I think it's…

That would be up to you. I know when I upped my calories I just "jumped in", so to speak. I went from 1300 net calories/day to 1800 net calories/day. It worked fine for me, but some like to increase slowly and bump up by 150-200 calories/week. I would go read the thread on what to expect when upping your calories. It's…

Love it! Thanks for sharing. So happy to have you as a friend.

You look amazing! Thanks for sharing your story!

Kiki Just wanted to drop in and let you know how much I appreciate what you and Lucia have done. You guys are amazing. I will admit that it took me awhile to start upping my cals. I did it slowly...same with reducing cardio. I just did the reset over the summer (even though I've been following EM2WL since last…
