How much have you lost? 51lbs :D I'm over half way now! How long did it take? 28 weeks tomorrow :) On average do you lose more than 2lbs a week? Some weeks I lose nothing, some weeks I lose as much as 4lbs! 51lbs divided by 28 weeks makes an average of 1.85lbs per week though.

I am definitely a minority here! I have never purposely eaten back an exercise calorie and I've lost 40lbs in 21 weeks (15 of those with MFP), going from 234lbs to 194lbs. My mum bought me new scales for my birthday on Tuesday, and they add 3lbs! It's especially annoying because on my old scales I'm just under 200lbs and on my new ones I'm still just over! Frustrating!

Welcome to MFP! You'll be so glad you've found it :) About the water... I find I drink more if I drink through a straw! I know that sounds really mad, but I just sit there with a straw in my glass of water and it disappears really quickly! Haha!

It's mine tomorrow and I plan on not counting! I don't have a heart rate monitor, but then I don't tend to eat back my exercise calories. I've lost 1.7 pounds a week on average since I started losing weight, and not eating back my exercise cals has had no effect on my weight loss as I have my cals set to losing 1.5lbs per week.
