Hi I'm 46. I'm about 5 pounds over my goal weight and have been working on toning and maintaining. Feel free to add me!

I'm 45.

45 here. I've been at my goal weight (150 lbs) for over two years. I've been trying to tone and sculpt and haven't succeeded yet.

I'm on methotrexate and prednisone for sarcoidosis (it's in my left eye). The mediation side-effects can be worst than the disease! I've given in to the prednisone hunger more than a few times. Thankfully I'm on a lower does now (15mg). Feel free to add me.

My diary is open to friends.

I'm 5'6" and I hover around 150. I started at 177. My frame is narrow so I prefer to stay in the 145-150 range.

Great advice about small changes. It's good to track nutrition too and not go over in your sodium and sugar allotments. This will help deter you from places like McDonalds and motivate you to prepare your own meals.

I'm 45 and approaching menopause. Feel free to add me. My diary is open and I've been maintaining 150 for the last year and a half. My new goal is to tighten up with weight training.

I'm on day four. You can do this!
-
Drink water after your wine and try not to go to sleep for at least two hours after you finish the bottle.

I had cool sculpting on my sides with good results and I'm giving up wine for the month of February and doing a 30 day squat challenge in addition to my regular exercise. I'm hoping to see a flatter stomach by this time next month.

I'm doing a dry February. This is day one. I'm familiar with the feelings of sadness. Not looking forward to that but it will pass.
-
I also have a problem with white wine. My plan is to cut it for the month of February so I can focus on my workouts. Feel free to add me. I need the support!!

Weight training will help you maintain your butt and curves too. I lost weight doing all cardio and was a skinny marshmallow. My curves are coming back now that I've added weights. I have trouble eating the maintenance calories too. I allow two cheat meals per week and have been able to maintain.

Wine. I exercise almost every day and eat right. I should be at my goal by now, but wine has me maintaining.

Make sure it's really endorsed by Dr. Oz. A lot of weight loss entities are using his name and he has warned about that on his show. The best weapon against fat loss is fewer calories and cardio, cardio, cardio. I know easier said than done, but it is the most effective.

I had to cut my drinking way back. I would drink white wine almost daily. I've only had a few drinks this month and will just drink wine occasionally from now on. I have no plans to stop completely. I love wine and will find a way to include it in my calorie allowance. I'm also increasing my exercise to five days a week.
