I would dress in layers, and bring garbage bags to transport any clothing you want to keep! If you are donating your shoes and throwing away your socks, its not biggie, but i wore a sweatshirt that even after thorough washing was still muddy. I am not a "juicer" but i was visiting my mom and she made one for me that was delish (sorry in advance, i don't have exact measurements) 2 granny smiths (i think...they were green apples) a giant bunch of kale 2 carrots some ginger It was really good!

Thats a LOT of water for a short amount of time (unless you are running in phoenix....are you?).....do you think maybe you are drinking too much? Feel better and be safe!

i would just eat the candy corn. I buy a bag every year. It's my happy place. I would gladly run extra miles or sacrifice food to have it. it's halloween! :)

I had just finished a half marathon, and i was drunk on glory. and bloody marys. So, yeah.....i have a full marathon to start training for.

I used hal higdon and have recommended it to everyone. I will be using his guide for a full marathon as well in spring! (and don't feel guilty switching days around if you need to. just get those long runs in!)

If i really haul buns, i can run an 8 minute mile, but it's not really sustainable and i tucker out after 2 miles. I usually run about 9:30/9:45 min/miles, unless it is hot out, and then my times get progressively worse :) I hope to get much faster in the coming months/years

I am also curious....my heart rate is usually around 180, and that is for a slow and steady 6mph pace.....but my resting is super high as well. Maybe we are just SO EXCITED ABOUT RUNNING that it raises our heart rate?? :D

If you talk to your doctor or nutritionist, or a counselor, they can recommend you to the appropriate in or out patient treatment facility. If you are at a stable weight, they can provide you with a psychologist to help you figure out this problem and deal with it in a healthy manner. And your English is very good! :)

see if there is a running group? whether it's an organized one, or a casual one through school or something. Strength in numbers, as well as easing your way into this new city. (they will know all the great running spots!)

i use a handheld nathan pack which has a 20 oz bottle, and a pocket for keys and snacks. I tried all the belts, but just cannot get used to the weight around my waist. I am also curious as to what packs/belts people think are the best because i design these products for work! :)

i make a lot of "grain salads" like pasta salad, couscous, taboulleh, quinoa with black beans, etc. It is cheap and makes alot! If you get sick of the same thing though, it can get a little boring unless you find new ingredients to throw in :)

I don't have a best diet, but i have a diet proverb! "eat until you're 8/10ths full." It sounds so easy but makes sense :)

This. You generally bloat the first couple weeks you start taking the pill. I am on loestrin, and have seen no weight gain. give your body at least 4-6 weeks, and then reevaluate

I went on a trail run that involved running through heavily wooded areas, and i had mosquito bites, bloody knees and 50 burrs stuck to my shirt. I felt like such a badass and was super proud of myself for carrying on! :D Congrats again on your PR!!

It should have a serving size on the bottle.......I think it's usually 6oz for a margarita? so yeah, depending on how big the glass is, you might have been overserved. Some people have sensitive stomachs with artificial sugar, which is in the diet mixers too.....so that might contribute! Feel better :)

Do you have any advice for getting a hill workout in when you live in a pretty flat area? or a substitution for hills?

my mom did this diet when my brother and i were little. It turns out, me and him both love cabbage soup, and would eat it all. So on the plus side, that soup is tasty! but honestly she never kept that weight off, and is still overweight like 20 years later. but man i am craving that soup now...
