Alcohol - What does the least amount of harm

Options
I am headed out in a few hours to catch up with an old friend. I would like to have a few drinks, but not sure what will provide the most bang for my calorie buck. Just want to get a little buzz without cheating my diet too badly.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

All alcohol, in any shape or form will make your metabolism slow to a crawl ... but if it were me a 67 cal beer.

Canadian has a beer called SUBLIME, 67 cals with lime and lemon MMMMMMM

I would have one drink of whatever you really like, and then stick to club soda with a lime wedge!

rum and diet has around 80 calories a drink. red wine is more like 120 and white is around 140. ask if they have skinny margaritas. 100 calories per drink. or you can ask to have one made. tequila, tripple sec, and lime juice.

    a lot of selzter

It was 131 calories. I called it a "Diet Old Fashioned".

This may be too late for you but in general if you avoid mixed drinks, margarita's, daiquiris you will be better off. Red wine and craft beers are my personal favorites though :-)
