in september! I completed c25k a couple of weeks ago and have now run 5k three times. so i reckon i will be okay. im nervous though- always am about races so this is a bit of fear conquering mission for me! Anyone else doing their first 5k race? Any tips? Would love to hear from you and your experiences!

PS: It will be the week before i hit the big 3 0! so thought it was a nice way to end my 20s!

I haven't signed up to one yet but I wish you all the luck in the world, and I can't wait to read about your experience!

My advice would be to run a few 5km+ before the race so when you stand at the starting line you know the distance won't be a problem. Hopefully you can then enjoy the process and the achievement- have fun!

I signed up for my first 5K also. It takes place on October 9th and I start training tomorrow so it should take me right up to the race.
