I'm 5'2" HW was 230. Started my weight loss journey kinda sporadically in 2016. Really started sticking to it and working for it around March of 2017. I'm hovering around 143-145 right now. I'm not sure what my ultimate goal weight is, but I'm not done yet.

I have been on my weight loss journey since 2016. My HW was 230. I was finally diagnosed with hypothyroidism around March or April of 2017 (had suspected it for a while). By that point, I had already lost about 30lbs. My dr prescribed Levothyroxine. Once I started that, I started to more religiously track my food (using a…

I ordered a bridesmaid dress based on my measurements (without trying on that size first) and it was a perfect fit!
-
Now that I'm significantly smaller, getting comfortable in bed is so HARD! I toss and turn all night.

Way to go!! I am also 5'2" and I'm down 86lbs from my HW. Still have a little bit to go, but excited with how far I've come!

Down 86lbs from HW. Not where I want to be yet, but I know I'll get there. Proud of how far I've come so far!

I love being able to wear normal sizes, but I'm now so overwhelmed with all of the clothing and style options, that I have no idea how to dress myself. I cannot find a comfortable sleeping position. Or standing position. There is hardly any padding left, I guess lol.

Thank you so much! It's very exciting. I now have no idea what size swimsuit to buy. Shopping will be fun! lol

Tried on my swimsuit from last year in April. It was baggier for sure, but I thought it would still work fine for swimming by the time the pool opened. Well, went to put it on the other day before a trip to the pool to find that it was WAY too big, hanging off of me. I tried on another one that used to be tight and…

I didn't really notice much of a difference until about 30lbs down. I'm now 61 pounds down and noticing all kinds of changes.

I was able to put on, button AND zip a pair of my teen daughter's jeans! They were like a second skin and they are not at all flattering yet, but....soon :-D

The other night during my jog, I jogged 12 consecutive minutes! My mini goal was to push it from 6 minutes to 7 minutes....I just kept going after I hit 7.
-
-
I'm able to jog for 6 minutes at once before having to switch to walking for a couple of minutes!! 30 seconds to a minute of jogging used to just about kill me! I also have bumped the speed up! Next up, 7 consecutive minutes at a time.

Yesterday I bought shorts!! I haven't worn shorts in public in years!

I've lost 53
-
Yep!! Exactly how it's been for me. I guess my breasts really are just large.

I'm 5'2." I started trying to lose weight about a year and a half ago. I lost about 30lbs and then fell off track with logging. Thankfully, I maintained the initial 30lb loss. Last May, I started again. Since then, there have been a few times I've fallen off track. I was always tired...not just tired, but EXHAUSTED. I…

The more the weight comes off, the better I start to feel. I even enjoy working out now. To help with muscle soreness, I take L-Glutamine and Magnesium.

I want to lose another 5lbs by Mother's Day
-
I've gone down another bra band size!
-
Butt and thighs. So, there's always this awkward style of my pants being baggy in those areas for a several lbs before my waist reduces enough to drop another size.
-
Thanks! When I bought it last year, it was way too tight, so there's another NSV :)
-
I tried on pants from my highest weight. At the time of my highest weight, they were beginning to feel snug. Now, I can easily slide them up (without unbuttoning or unzipping) and wear them over my pretty bulky sweat pants. They're super baggy everywhere!

It's pretty crappy that she didn't offer any advice or start you on a low dosage of meds for a few weeks before rechecking your blood. Thyroid issues are generally unlikely to fix themselves. The body just isn't making the correct hormones. I would ask to be referred to an endocrinologist.

I have hypothyroidism (under active). I have been on meds for about 3 weeks now. I've lost several pounds since then, but I have also become much stricter about weighing my food with a food scale and logging every bite. So, don't really think I can credit the medicine for that so much as crediting myself for accurately…

I don't like eating breakfast, but I like to have something light in the morning so I don't feel ravenous by lunch. I drink a Premier Protein ready-made shake just about every morning. 30g of protein.

I have been on Levothyroxine for about 3 weeks for hypothyroidism. I've lost about 6lbs since starting. I log and weigh everything I eat. Also, be sure you take the meds on an empty stomach with plenty of water (wait at least 30 mins before eating), otherwise the meds will not be absorbed properly by your body. I don't…

I've lost 50 lbs and am always cold, but was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and turns out that is one of the symptoms. Not to say that is the case for you though. Congrats on the weight loss!! :)
