  • What has helped me the most is increasing fat. Try to eat high fat, moderate protein, and low carbs, as percentages of your daily calories. Fat is what really keeps you feeling full. I do track my calories, as at the end of the day, it is what counts. Good luck.
  • Thank you! I guess I finally get it! I also wonder if I can just stay in Keto the rest of my life? I have no desire to ever change how I am eating now.... Is that healthy?

  • I am sorry that happened to you. Your cousin was not very nice. Genetics do play a role in how our bodies look and how easily you may gain weight. That said, it does not mean that you are destined to be obese! The choices you make, the food you eat, the activity you do, all make a difference. It may mean that you must be…
  • ^^^This^^^ sorry pushed the button too soon. I went for a week one time eating NOTHING BUT SWEETS! Nothing else.... I could do that again..... :(
  • My son has this same issue. He joined the military, and basic training was horrendous for him. He managed to complete, but after returning from Iraq, he is a mess. I would strongly suggest you get a complete physical, and maybe even get some PT, so you don't end up hurt. From what I can understand with my son's diagnoses,…
  • Feel free to add me! Welcome!
  • I just did week 3 day 1, I could not finish the last 90 sec run as I did not plan my route well and it ended up being uphill at the end. It was just too hard. My question, do I repete this day or continue as planned? Thanks!
  • If they did that here, there would be no EMS. that makes me sad...

  • You have to die of something. You can't live forever, and you cant die of "nothing". I am taking the big risk and keeping my cheese. At least it isn't killing me at this second....hehe
  • Thank you so much for sharing your story. I am 47 years old, and was wondering if it is my age that caused me to hurt so bad. Now I see it goes away, and I am not alone! Thank you. I am doing the c25k and just did w2 d2. I will keep on keeping on!
  • Week 2 day 2 done! Legs are sore... Hope this gets easier! How many old, fat, ladies in their right mind decide to do this? LOL Well I don't care what anyone says... I am trying! I am determined to continue until I can't... Keep up the good work everyone! I know many say it, but I really mean it: IF I CAN DO THIS, ANYONE…
  • ^^^ This! You are sure not being very supportive for belonging to a support group.
  • There are free Zumba Chair workouts on youtube. You can work out while sitting in a chair.
  • >>1st question. How do you control yourself from eating , binging, drinking in a sociol situation. Like others have said, portion control. Also you can do some extra exercise on those days to help balance your calorie intake some. Maybe go for a walk after dinner, or play a game of a sporting nature; like basket ball or…
  • Thank you! Tomorrow is Week 2 Day 2 of c25k for me. I have committed to run a 5K in June. I am 47 years old, 5' 2", and 230 pounds. I have never run in my life. This is very helpful to me!
  • I have 100 pounds to lose, and am only here a week in. Please anyone feel free to add me!
  • WAY TO GO!! I can't wait to be there!
  • I did not want to go run this morning. I talked myself into it, and I felt wonderful when I was finished. I was dreading the W2 D1. It was a little harder than last week, but not nearly as bad as I had let myself believe it to be. Now I just looked at next week, and seeing a full three minute run, when 90 seconds feel so…
  • Some parents think they need to show they care for you by buying you things you like. Maybe you can ask your parents to buy you healthy snacks instead of "junk" food. Give your mom a list of things she could substitute the cake and cookies for. You know what you like, so I won't post suggestions. Also maybe you can take up…
