This has been the best program for me, too. It encourages me to really look at what I eat and how much exercise I get everyday. If you have a a smart phone and the MFP app., you can find almost every big name restaurant or food category with the calorie count. It is also so helpful to be able to add the foods immediately rather than trying to remember what you ate when you get home.

Good Luck on your journey and it is a journey. This has been a wonderful tool to use along the way. I have used diets, supplements, etc. and have NEVER has the success (28 lbs in 130+ days) I have had with MFP. Hope you find it to be true for you, too.

Great job...you are definitely right about this being a lifestyle change. Every day is a challenge but with the great support from MFP it really keeps me focused. Agree with the mobile Android!!! I love being able to eat out and record my food choices right on the spot. No more trying to remember what I ate when I get back…

I think the '"plateau" is the most difficult part of loosing weight. We get stuck and then discouraged. I have found that just staying focused on your eating and exercise seems to be the way to go. Also don't forget the WATER!!!

Oh yes, chocolate in any form. I gave up chocolate for Lent this year and it was hard. Now, however, I don't have the craving I had before I went without it. :smile:

I, too, am having problems eating all my calories. I always seem to have calories left at the end of the day but when I look at the diary I'm out of fats, and sugars, so what is left to eat???? It seems a shame to just eat to fill in the calories. I am trying to remember to eat more snacks during the day to help. Need some…

It has happened to me too. I have been at the same weight for about 2 weeks. Eating right, watching calories, doing cardio but still not moving down on the scales. Today I finally dropped 1.5 pounds!! This is the longest that I have been stalled so I guess it is just your body adjusting to the changes.

That happened to me when I first started...so frustrating. It took several weeks before everything kicked in and I saw a loss. Stay with it and keep focused on your goals.
