  • That's not weird. I have an amazing Jack Russell named Patches. She's my baby and she sure does make me happy when I go home. If I could take her to work with me then I would never have stress lol!

  • Thanks, I will try that. Doing exercises at work is not something I can do so I hope this will help.

  • Over doing things at the gym is something you should never do. My boyfriend thought it would be great to push his self at the gym. Well my phone rang at 1:30 am. He was crying because he couldn't move. When I say couldn't, I mean it was like he was paralized. When I got to his house I was so scard that I couldn't even…
  • Go back to your OB and explain to him or her what is going on and let them know that this is starting to cause you problems with being able to work. There has to be something they can do to help you.
  • I eat celery with just a little peanut butter for flavor. Also Special K bars are good and they are only 100 calories per bar. One thing I love in the summer is taking grapes and freezing them. They are a great snack that will keep you cool in the summer!
  • I agree. Print it out and take it to the manager. There has to be something they do in situations like that. I know my gym doesn't go for things like that.
  • I totally agree. See your doctor asap
  • Welcome! You will enjoy this site. It's great and reminds you of how much you eat. I've already lost 2 lbs in just a couple of weeks!
  • I think your doing everything right and should stick to it. You have your ups and downs in your weight, but in the long run it will show results. I can say that I'm just losing motavation in working out. I'm eating right but just don't want to hit the gym. Stick with it!
  • Welcome and good luck!
  • Yeah McDonald's makes sure you don't know until it's too late lol! That makes me feel like I wasted my money because I don't want to eat it by then.
  • I will have to try this. I love chocolate milk! lol

  • Well as far as my weight, I started last year at 220. When I joined mfp I was 170 and today I'm 169. I'm 5' 6" tall. Normally I only eat breakfast (whatever I find), lunch (salad or sandwich), and dinner I didn't always eat. Yesterday I tried snacking every 2 hours on veggies and I ate breakfast (waffles 180 cal for 2),…

  • I try to go to the gym 3 days a week. I don't want to over do it and doing this it also gives me time to get other things done in my life too.
  • Thanks everyone, I know I posted this in the wrong group. Guess I'm having a bad day. It was very helpful!
  • What I would do is leave your goal where it is. Once you hit that goal then set a new goal. This will keep you from getting upset if it gets to hard to reach your new goal. Make one goal at a time and run with it. Stay positive and anything is possible!
  • I would rather work out either first thing in the morning or right after I get off work. (Before I eat)
  • I do it pretty much like you do. Like yesterday I went to subway for lunch because I was on the go. Since I only ate about half my sandwich I went back in and changed the serving amount. Doing it like that helps me stay on track.
  • Welcome! I was the same way, but I gained 10 pounds while pregnant and then another 10 after my daughter was born. Within the past year I have lost a total of 51 lbs. I have not been on this site long but so far I love it! It seems to be a great help in keeping my mind on my goal! Good Luck and just yell if you need…
  • Welcome and good luck! Everyone here is really great and will be your support!
  • Hi and Welcome!

  • I think it works because when you log your food, if you are close to your calories for the day it makes me rethink what I'm going to eat for dinner. My 2nd day and I was thinking from breakfast on as to what I wanted to eat and could eat. It's a big help and I really enjoy it!
  • It's always easier to lose weight when someone is doing it with you! Good Luck!

  • Sorry for your hard times, but you're on the right track! Good luck on all you do and I wish you the best!
  • I understand what you mean by pain with certain exercises. The good things I have found is the pain got better once the weight came off. I started last year at 220 lbs and this morning I was 169. I go to a gym now and feel great after working out. Good luck on your journey and I hope your pain gets better like mine did.
  • Welcome and good luck!
  • Welcome! I have been on here a few days myself and already lost 1 pound. It's great and everyone seems to be so supportive!
  • I do it every day because it seems to help me keep on track.
  • I personally don't believe in any diet, but my own. If you go on these diets and lose the weight, what happens if you hit your goal weight and you stop eating what they tell you to? For myself I did what my boyfriends Doctor told him. My boyfriend had a heart attack at 36 plus was told he had diabetes, high blood preasure,…
