Whooo- Hi Team UK. Its an Olympic year so when better to have a team UK right!
-
London here - happy to have more UK friends!
-
Thanks Reesa! Will do - anyone else who wants some additional support do get in touch - especially if you are in the same timezone as the UK.
-
I'm finding the same problem! Shall we start one of our own!?
-
Any space for me - or is this group full up now?
-
I'm in but never done a challenge on mfp so what's involved?!
-
I'm in London
-
Ok - anyone in the UK know where I can go and buy it? Should I just order it online?

Your weight will change throughout the day. If it is "that time" it might be to do with water retention? I would suggest that you dont just monitor your weight but also your measurements. As you can go for a while thinking that you are loosing nothing on the scales, but the inches will be falling away!
-
Looks like you are making good choices. I see that you are regularly under your calorie guide so as bizzare as it sounds maybe try eating a little bit more? also try mixing up your exercise routines? and maybe check your measurements - as you are probably loosing inches!

he is a guy. they dont notice these things. PLUS he sees you everyday at work and people do not notice things which are gradual changes. all good weight loss will be gradual so dont let it put you off. take a look at some photos of yourself when you were 35lbs heavier and you will see the difference for yourself! Keep up…

Im in London too sweetie - happy to friend you on here and help motivate. I agree with other posters it is just about being bloody minded!

I've found the same thing with mine. I go wit what is on the machine and not what is on MFP. Would be interested to know if that is the wrong thing to be doing though!
-
well done you!!!!!
-
Don't worry about logging this one day. You will have more important things to focus on.
-
Do you have your lifestyle listed correctly? As it sounds to me like you are pretty active and therefore you probably can hav emore than 1200 as your base level?
-
tinned food! works well as weights - just make sure you have two the same and then you can use them instead of hand weights!
-
well done sweetie!!
-
That sounds like a great idea. I'm going to try that one!
-
Humm I guess you are right. I know I am a sugar addict. I did the south beach diet and by the second week I was ok without it. I guess the best thing will be for me to get on with it and just not have anything sweet after a meal. it is just hard!

Fry the beef until it is brown and drain off any excess fat. Add in some ginger, salad onions and a small glove of garlic together with some chili, add in a small amount of sherry. Wrap the beef up in a lettuce leaf and have as a healthy asianish burrito!

Ohh sweetie - sending you big hugs. I dont know where you are based, but here in the UK you can go to a citizens advice and they are really good and helping write to people on your behalf to sort out payment plans etc. I know it does not feel like it right now but tomorrow is another day and it will all work out in the…

Ahh that makes sense!

Well done you! Thanks for posting - just what I needed to see. My colleagues are all headed out for lunch to a Thai restaurant and I am stuck in the office with my salad. Now I know it is worth it!
-
When you say you had 1350 - does that include all the extra you earned through the exercise? Sounds to me like you had low blood sugar - as if that was the case then an apple would help. Make sure you eat the extra calories that you have earned as otherwise your body may go into starvation mode and you will stop loosing…
-
Amazing what a result! Ok for me to put those photos on my cookie jar/fridge as added motivation!
-
What are the foods that you are eating? I think you can make your food diary public and then maybe people can give you some advice?
-
Hi - welcome to MFP!
-
Ok - So elliptical trainer it is. Will do it for 30min at a higher resistance than normal and then have the extra 15min to relax and unwind so ready for our guests! Thanks for all the advice everyone!
-
Congratulations - that is a major accomplishment - you should be really really proud of yourself and deserve to treat your self to something very special to make loosing over 100lbs!! Maybe a nice necklace or earings - something you can keep for a long time?
