  • It is completley removable.
  • I had the same problem. I took mine to the jewler and for $5 they put on whats called a ring guard. Just a little metal adjustable band across the bottom. As you loose weight you can make it tighter until you are done loosing.
  • [is not for everyone. It is nothing even close to Phen fen. [/quote] I think Banks meant how fast you lose not Speed as in drugs.... I agree with both sides here except I've tried alli and other "crutches" which I thought I needed and I always gained everything I lost and more....if you need to take it - try to wean…

  • Thank you! I have worked hard to get where I am, eatign very healthy and working out. I guess some people think that everyone who takes a pill thinks that is all they are doing to loose weight.

  • My doctor reccomends it for anyone who needs to loose more than 50 pounds. It is not formulated like past pills on the market.

  • Wholely and completely unnecessary! You don't need it, it's a crutch, if you can lose weight with it, then you can lose weight without it! Why put a chemical in your body that changes your body chemistry when you can do the same job without it? Maybe it will take a little longer, but really, is this about I'm not sure I…

  • You still have to do all the hard work, it is not a copout. All it is is a fat blocker that blocks some of the fat you eat. You still have to eat healthy and exercise. It is somthing that helps you to stay honest to watching what you eat.

  • Obviously not everyone is as well informed on how Alli works. Some people NEED a crutch to help them get started. Everybody is different and Alli is not for everyone. It is nothing even close to Phen fen.

  • Just to clarify, the amount of calories you are required to consume on Alli are calculated the same way they are on this site. Everyone is different so not everyone will have a 1200 calorie limit. What they do limit is the fat, no more than 15 grams per meals. Currently my goal caloric intake for the day is 1800.

  • I have been using Alli since February and I have lost 28 pounds. I love it because it works int he digestive system as a fat blocker and doesn't affect the brain or the heart. It does force you to be honest with yourself. If you do not follow a low fat healthy diet you can have side effects. If you do have those effects,…

  • Ok I am dense in this area apparently. When you say log it as curcuit training, how do you mean. I just did a search for curcuit training under cardio and strength and nothing came up. I am having a brain dead moment here.
  • A large glass of ice cold water helps me. Especially when i drink it as fast as i can. If nothing else it will have you waking up to go tot he bathroom frequently.

  • Is there a way I can enter the level one workout in my exercise without having to enter each individual move?
  • Yes I love that commercial. If only I was as skinny as she was to begin with.
  • That is a good idea. maybe I should do that as well.
  • would like to wear a bikini some day. I have alooong way to go though.
  • I can't answer your question but my uncle is an alcoholic. He was called out to help volunteer with Hurricane Katrina. He was gone for three weeks. He couldn't drink while he was there because he was working. WHen he came back, he had lost 20 pounds. 20 pounds in three weeks. Just because he stopped drinking.
  • I am curious what it is. I would not buy anything like that without knowing what is involved.

  • Firstly, loosing weight isn't as important as being healthy. If she is exercising she could be replacing fat with muscle, in which case the scale can fluctuate. It can also fluctuate do to the time of the month or water weight due to salt intake. If her clothes are fitting better then I would say the weight number doesn't…
  • You don't even look that old. You have made a huge difference in your life. You have lost an entire person. You are an inspiration!:flowerforyou:
  • So I have finally lost 25 pounds. I still have a long way to go but when I look in the mirror I am happy with the results I am seeing. I have been working hard on this since february. People at work are noticing which is good when they see me every day and are less likely to notice. I am excited and I had to share. I weigh…
  • So as it turns out I have pneumonia so it looks like I am off thsi whole week from my fitness program. At least I am still loosing weight. Hope I can get back on track next week.
  • thanks everyone. I have an appointment to go to dr today so I am going to just take it easy.
  • Thank you. Maybe I will just call the doctor and try to get in to see him.
  • I have been sick the last few days with a severe cold or sinus infection. I put off my cardio workout yesterday and just walked. If I do cardio today (even though I am still feeling bad) will it make me feel better or should I take it easy?
  • I don't post very often althought I use this website everyday. I had to stop and say, you look fabulous! My first thought was, she looks like Shania Twain. Seriously, are you a model? Congratulations on your wedding!
  • You do know it is okay to feel the way you do? If you didn't, one would wonder if you were normal. When my parents divorced my mother told me that it felt like someone had died. In a sense they did, their relationship died. Both are remarried now. It is a shame that your ex is so selfish to put you through this. I will…
