  • i am in the same boat. luckily i have a friend who is a trainer and she is working up a routine for me, when she gets it to me i'll share it. i am going to work on cardio 6 days a week and strength 3 days.
  • i use the 99% fat free ground turkey breast, love it. i don't add anything to it just patty it up like a normal burger and it taste like eating a chicken sandwich. i think the reason what you used made your house stink is because most ground turkey has additives to mimic ground beef flavor. try it again just using…
  • if you have been lifting then your body is probably gaining muscle mass. i agree with the above poster, you need to be doing measurements also, they will tell you the real story.

  • does sound really good, can't wait to try it!!
  • i think the most important thing is that you feel good with how you look. and of course it does depend on body shape..i weigh 165 but have been told i look like i weigh about 140 -145.
  • every scale is different (crazy i know) so you just need to pick one and go with that. you could also try testing them out by taking something that you know weighs a certain amount, like a 10lb weight, a see what the scales say.
  • if my 5 year olds attitude is ANY indication of what he will be like as a teenager, then i am locking him up right now :grumble:

  • i can't use the ones you stick in your ears so i use the ones that clip around your ear (without the thing that goes over your head). like these http://www.walmart.com/ip/Maxell-Stereo-Ear-Clips/10981896
  • i usually burn between 700-900 calories (we do alot of bouncing). i guess i am fortunate enough to have a very small class, like the most we have had is 6 people, so i don't really have any of those pet peeves. though there was a lady that came one time and she would pretty much just stand in the back and wave her arms…
  • i quit january 2009 using Chantix. i did gain 20 pounds but that was also attributed to going out to eat alot and not exercising. the whole eating thing when you quit is usually needing something to do with your hands and mouth. i think if i was following a diet plan like i am doing now and exercising i wouldn't have…
  • i just do (of course) chicken, celery, onion, sweet relish, mustard, and light mayo (usually just use the one serving for a small batch).
  • keep up with the cardio (maybe even amp it up a bit) and add some strength training. should help out. i am in the same boat you are, fairly happy with everything else except the lower belly. but it is slowly but surely going down ;)
  • i was reading something on dr. oz yesterday and it said if you hit a plateau bump up your exercise, even if it's just 5 extra minutes. your body gets used to exercise and it doesn't take as much energy to complete it. so try switching it up or adding a little extra to your workout.
  • push ups!!!! plus they target a wide variety of other muscles!

  • my back and my tummy. my back is almost toned up and my belly seems to get flatter everyday (when i touch it, looking at it and i still see a big ole gut)!
  • i did wear my HRM one night, just to see  and for 30 minutes of foreplay and sex i only burned about 50 calories. so unless you are extremely acrobatic during your sessions i don't think it will be enough to log it .
