I lost 15lbs in two months. I wasn't on a particularly rigorous schedule. I was consuming around 1200 calories a day and working out only twice a week for about 30-45 minutes. I snacked on vegetables mostly and had a small treat like a pudding every night. I ate every 3 hours, roughly, and tried not too late into the day.…

I think that the calorie counting should be a habit that facilitates getting to the point where one wouldn't need to track calories. Eventually, I would like to be able to just 'know' what I should and shouldn't eat. Getting too caught up in numbers, like calories and weight, is torture, like you said. The point I feel we…

No matter what your calories consist if, you will still lose weight if you are eating less calories than you consume. But the nutrition is important for feeling good in terms of energy, etc. I wouldn't worry about the protein, because this sites default amount of protein is kinda low especially if you are working out. Most…

I have made brownies from scratch but my mother won't eat them... she's really picky and will only eat the boxed stuff. I've heard good things about the no Pudge brownies, so yogurt might be a good sub as well. Thanks for the info guys!

When I started to lose weight, I was 125-127 pounds, but I'm 5' 3". The pounds were not stubborn to come off for me, but I was eating a kinda low amount of calories (less than 1200) which most people would not advise. Now, I maintain my goal weight at around 1400-1600 calories. The thing about my body is that I do look a…

Skinnytaste.com is personally one of my favorite sites for dinner recipes. This is her lunch section http://www.skinnytaste.com/2007/07/lunch-recipes.html

I put the recipe in for the way I made it... which was 5 graham crackers, about 1/2 cup apple sauce, and about 8 tbsp light whipped topping. This came out to 465 calories for the whole thing, and for a fourth of the cake it was 116 calories, 22 carbs, 8g sugar, 3g fat. Of course, this recipes is very easy to modify, like…

Skinnytaste.com has a lot of zucchini recipes. I am in love with the chocolate chip zucchini bread!

I recommend the skinnytaste.com recipes as well. Made the chicken ones last week and they were good.

I believe you will still lose weight if you are under calories, but you will probably feel a lot worse than if you ate healthy.

Tunathewonderfish.com has a lot of recipes. My favorite is a tuna bean salad. 1/2 cup red kidney beans canned 1 cup green beans fresh or frozen 2 oz canned tuna Lemon juice Salad leaves, spinach is a good choice. I just refrigerate the beans, tuna, and green beans for a couple hours. It's a good amount of food for around…

I really like this suggestion :) Thank you!

Yeah, that is exactly my problem. The numbers really get to me. I will work hard on getting to a point where normal, healthy eating comes naturally.

I always cut up apples with cinnamon. I've never microwaved it but it is so delicious and good for you!

Get some sugar free pudding cups. 60 calories each, and so delicious! I bought Keebler mini pie crusts and sometimes I treat myself to a mini pie for 170 calories. Not the healthiest but very delicious.

Made this the other night. I was so surprised when it came out looking just like a cupcake. It was great when I paired it with a 60 calories sugar-free pudding cup!

Thanks a lot :)

In the oven now! I'll post pics. I used white sugar instead of brown so the color might be a bit different than expected.

Bump! I always have regular frozen veggies. French cut green beans are so yummy, but I need a change.
