Can I join? I have a baby and have been so tired that I kept putting off running or when I did I didn't stick to it. But it's time - I got back on mfp starting yesterday. My goal coming in late is 24 miles since my runs are around a mile right now. And my MIL is coming to visit but I'm wanting to still run those days too.

Same here :) Well I'm 4 1/2 weeks. And this is my 4th. But I started out overweight and didn't want to put off having our last baby. But I'm wanting to eat very healthy and not gain more than 25 lbs. I'll send you a friend request :smiley:

sorry I don't have an answer, really, here to *bump* all I can add is I know string cheese is a great one because it's not too high cal, low fat and good protein. But otherwise I'm like you and need ideas! ;)

You can add me :) I lost over 40 lbs on here about a year ago and then got pregnant. I now have my little girl (it looks like you have a newborn too, congrats!) but the weight is not really coming off for me. So, I'm back to logging, because I know it works! Especially with the right support group ;)

You're not alone! I lost over 40 lbs about a year ago (which is a lot on a 5'1 frame), then I got pregnant and gained too much because I stopped logging. I'm back and have re-dedicated myself, but am needing more support too, so feel free to add me :) I seriously think MFP works SO much better with friends who are logging…

I use ground turkey in place of beef for everything! My hubby doesn't mind at all either :) It's a little different in taste and flavor of course, but I personally prefer it now! It's a great thing to swap in place of beef in your diet. And if u miss beef just keep in mind whenever you eat out and get a burger or anything…

You may also want to consider eating close to whatever your BMR is, you can calc this under the tools section. Anways - BMR is what your body would burn if you were to not even move/be in a coma all day. Just a thought :)
