So, if their proportionate, are you losing at a good pace or are you stuck if I may ask?

It averages 85 to 87 daily

Well, right now, it shows I have earned 350 calories for 3800 steps. I feel thats really high, UNLESS I just dont quite understand how fitbit works. I have had MFP and FitBit synced for approximately a year now, but Ive just recently started to get serious about it. I am a 5'4 female, 186 lbs. Fitbit says I average a…
-
Okay well mine is currently set at 1200 so I guess I won't worry about that then. So I guess I basically just need to let Fitbit sync and say I have way too many calories back in my opinion and just use MyFitnessPal for whatever I am allowed back

Thanks for insight.. what is the negative calorie adjustment? What is helpful about that? I was once told you dont enable that if you are sedentary...
-
They are both set to sedentary. I work at a computer all day so I dont move much. I do not log anything manually. I let fitbit do it all. Idk if there is some adjustment i should make or what.. ugh. Its so frustrating.
-
Usually, i have been going by the fitbit calories left.. and at the end of the day it leaves me eating like 900ish calories, which is obviously too low. Ive see. A stall in weight loss, actually, a gain in the last few days and now I assume its because fitbit is wrong..🤨
-
So I should honestly assume I can really eat 500ish more and still meet my goal of 2lbs weekly? Generally speaking.
-
So basically, i just need to keep my numbers in gree n correct? With the nca enabled?
-
Ok, so if I am set at 1200 and sedentry, should I just ignore the negative calorie setting all together and shut it off? If I get extra calories throughout the day, Im probably ok eating those or some back and still lose? I assume according to your post above me, if I step more than 3500 a day, I should just shut it off…
-
great, thanks. MFP says I still have 499 calories left for the day, but my fitbit now shows I am over 357 calories so far, ugh! so confusing.
-
-
Ok, I have it set to enable calorie adjustment on MFP.. anyone want to dumb down an explanation for this? Will it now give me less eatback calories or what is the point? Sorry! Im kind of "dumb" when it comes to this stuff.
-
So how and where should I set the negative calories?
-
so I have my fitbit set to be at 1.5 lbs, so a deficit of 650.. should I go by that on the app or by mfp? I have the charge hr
-
around 5k to 6k daily on steps.. and on negative adjustments.. I have NO IDEA lol how do I do that and what are the benefits of that?
-
yeah, youre right, oops, sorry. I am 5'4, 180lbs, I have it set at 2lbs, sedentry. When I set it at 1.5 a week, it gives me 1400 daily
-
I see, I entered sedentry because I work in an attorney's office and literally sit in front of a computer all day, I try to go to the gym 3 days a week. but I was afraid it would overestimate me if I entered slightly active :/
-
I am 5'4 at 170 by the way.
-
Thanks everyone. Definately more motivating than the damn scale today. :) I was hoping that it was a little more common to lose inches vs weight on LC..
-
Did you end up losing more than your weight that week after having that cheat?
-
Do you ever notice that you lose more after a cheat day?
-
I guess Im asking if anyone has had luck with eating one meal or a cheat day to get back to losing after being stuck for a few days..
-
Yes! They had almost the full amount of sugar alcohol as the amount of carbs! It's weird though because I eat the sugar free mint parties throughout the week and don't notice anything. "Sigh" I guess I'm just worried about every little thing turning into a gain.
-
I actually find when I have a cheat day, things taste not so great as I had imagined. ESPECIALLY sweet things, then I just dont crave them or want them for awhile after. EX: I had a shake from sonic about 3 weeks ago... havent wanted one since.
-
forgot to mention that im doing 20g or less a day. Ive just heard low carb in general causes inch loss over weight..
-
Yes actually I am always 20g or under, so I guess that is it, I HOPE!!!
-
No, I dont believe I ate 14,000 calories. lol. I had applebees fires, chicken strips and honey mustard, also like 5 girl scout cookies. Its just amazing what one day does to you. Last week, I had 4 days in a row that I screwed up, and lost more weight that next week faster than I have before, then I screwed up.
-
Haha, yeah, im sure youre right, I just dont get it, I dont know whether to do it or not do it. DIETS ARE CRAZY!!
