I scooped my dirty laundry into the washer this morning. It was gross, all cold, and wet from a week's worth of exercise sweat. I couldn't be happier.

Tuesday morning for me. Keeps me on track enough through the weekend knowing I’ll be weighing in, but still affords me one Monday to balance out.

Hummus. Too many calories for just okay taste. Veggie burgers - I cycle through obsession and revulsion then back again. Right now they're a no.

I am equally amused and aghast. Definitely going to cut down on alcohol and loneliness. I was told to eat an orange after every meal. The pounds just melt away. Same person said don't exercise longer than 30 minutes as anything over doesn't do anything. One of my favorites, though, is to drink water at room temperature to…

I was entering the grocery store and, out of habit, I stepped aside to make room for another lady who was exiting. She laughed and said "We'll both fit". It was a good reminder that I'm not as large as I once was. Really took me by surprise.

My daily morning walk / run keeps me focused. I use the time to think through the day's food and fitness plan and troubleshoot any problem food situations I may have encountered the day before. This reaffirms my resolve every day.

I can totally relate, OP. I don't eat out often anymore but I sometimes find myself in your exact situation in a restaurant. I eat plenty at home, but I do like to prepare it myself and weigh/measure everything. My go-to in a diner is three eggs over medium and tomato slices. I leave two yolks on the plate and eat around…

Running buddy magnetic waist pouch here too. Love it. with bluetooth wireless headphones.

My iPhone tagged me as two different people! Sometimes I feel the same size but today my phone tells me last year's picture is a totally different person than my recent photos. Weirdly wonderful feeling.
-
I've been cooking three eggs and eating only one of the yolks, so I've been trying to cut the two extra yolks away from the whites on my plate. My husband suggested I simply separate the two extra egg whites before I cook them. duh. I'd been doing it the hard way for an embarrassingly long time.

Last week I was told that I should not run at my age. I'm 51.

I find that people are very curious about my food scale use. It's as if no one has ever seen one before. I don't mind usually.

Down 100+ lbs so far. I have a fear that the same motivating switch that turned on when I started making significant changes will suddenly turn off again at any moment. It's happened before with various hobbies, and sometimes losing weight feels like a hobby too. For me, that's a dangerous way of viewing it. Hobbies can be…

OP, great job racking up those miles to the game and getting in all those steps. Way to work more fitness into your world.

Here's a different approach. Play a mental trick and convince yourself that you're not close to goal yet, and that you've got, say, thirty more pounds to go instead of ten. I'm not saying actually lose thirty more, just get out of the mindset that you're close to goal. Perhaps the increased hunger is from seeing that goal…

I rearrange my pantry...often, and organize the refrigerator. I find it weirdly soothing to stack and sort the canned goods etc. Also, I've been drinking much more coffee since I've been eating less.

jkm49, congratulations on your healthy year anniversary. May I ask, are there particular things you did differently this time as apposed to previous weight loss and regain that has helped you maintain your loss this time? I am currently losing weight and looking ahead to maintenance. I'm very concerned about being able to…

Why would someone go to the trouble of picking up and bagging their dog's pu just to then leave their little bags of nastiness along the side of the walking path? It's illogical. Rain would eventually have washed the little darling's number twos down into the grass, but it can't wash away little blue knotted bags of…

Other peoples food allergies or special dietary needs irk me. It seems fashionable to have some special food issue that must be discussed at every meal. Never cared. Eat it or don't eat it. Also when people are talking about their pets and they physically act out the pet's behavior with strange facial expressions and sound…

I fit into a store bought Halloween costume this year. One of my goals checked.
