I was having calf issues for awhile...I was lucky to feel the strain coming on and was able to stretch them out before a tear or something worse...I bought support sleeves at a running store(made by cep), and they have helped greatly...They feel fabulous while youre running too...Worth a try...

Ive tried alot of the diets out there too...Nothing works for me like counting calories...It gives you the chance to eat what you want, in moderation, so you dont always feel deprived, and then go off the deep end...Lol...Certain things seem to work for certain people, but I think counting calories is something that you…

Training for a marathon is like a part-time job, but its very rewarding...I would run a few 5ks, 10ks, etc...I never ran a half, just because there werent any local, and to travel didnt fit my schedule...I did 2 marathons in the mid 90s, however...How far do you run in training now? I wish you luck!!!

You have to go under Cardio exercises and put in strength training...I wondered the same thing until I figured it out...Hope that helps...

I eat the bulk of my calories by lunch...Then, go with a much lighter dinner...

It changes because of your exercise.

Go slower up the hill if you have to...And, once you crest the hill, try to take a deep breath, as deep as you can, and blow it out hard...Like a cleansing breath, if youre familiar with Lamaze...Lol...And, if you have to walk for 20 seconds, its not a big deal...

The program works, so you can trust it...If you have a huge calorie deficit every day from not eating some exercise calories back, your metabolism may actually slow down a little...Try it for 2 weeks...If you dont like the results, go back to your old style...Personally, after days in which I feel like Ive eaten alot, I…

Eat whole wheat pasta, if you like it...Or, if you want pasta, eat it...Its all about portion control...This site has taught me that I can eat what I want, just in moderation...

Wow, thats amazing!!! Im 49, and would love to have that build. Im not sure I could ever pull it off, but its good motivation. Thanks for posting!

It is perfectly fine to eat back your exercise calories...The program is set up for you to lose weight with no exercise...So, the calories burned by exercise can be eaten...That is why they have the additions on here...Exercising wasnt a waste of time...It helped boost your metabolism for the day, and get your body in…

Its not cheating at all...The plan already has you at a calorie deficit...In other words, eating low calories...And, exercising actually speeds up your metabolism, so you burn calories at a higher rate after your workout is done...I love the exercise calories...Its gives me a reason to workout more...Just my opinion...

If you had a few bad days, it could just be water weight...Stick with it, it will come off...

Just listen to your body...I ran 2 marathons and couldnt really take many days off afterwards...I think I took 2 days both times...It depends on how sore you are...I went for a real slow jog the first time afterwards, and it actually helped my soreness go away...Take care of your feet during the race and you should be…
