I'm 5'10. My TDEE is around 2300. I'm doing 1850 right now for weight loss. I drop down to 1500 now and then if I think I need to. I think 2000+ when I reach my goal is totally reasonable.

5'10 here and I just upped my calories from 1560 to 1850 because I was feeling dizzy and headache-y trying to keep at or under that goal. 1460 was what MFP gave me when I signed up as sedentary, and I'd added 100 because I felt that was more manageable (I'm a slow and steady weight loss person, so I don't care how long…

I dunno...living off donuts would be hard to swing, but recipe-wise, you can do a lot of things with pizza and burgers. I could probably find a way to live nutritionally off that!

Who brought coffee? Where's coffee? GIMME. No, uh. I have 1-2 cups a day, don't consider myself too addicted but do get lovely headaches in the afternoon if I haven't had any yet. I do 2 tbsp of cream/creamer per 8-10 oz mug, and sometimes add a squirt of honey (which I log as tsp). I'm not a big breakfast person, so if I…

Yeah, I'm afraid it might be something I can never balance out, haha. Thanks!

I have trouble in hero's pose because of the ganglion on my ankle, but I'll try that other stretch. Thanks!

Thanks, everyone! I definitely have a problem with curling my toes when my extensions and movements are getting tired, or sometimes when I'm rushed I start the point with my toes instead of coming through the legs and feet, so that could absolutely be part of the problem. Part of the problem is the toe bones themselves, as…

Toe/foot/ankle stretch and workout suggestions also welcome

The NYC Ballet workouts are on youtube, if you're into that. They might feel overwhelming with no dance experience (and they're even overwhelming for me sometimes, with dance experience), but they're good ~60 minute workouts.

I've hated my body forever, too. Even when I was scrawny. When I was scrawny, my thighs and butt were big, my boobs were too small, my teeth were crooked, and my head looked too small for my body. Now, I'm 20 pounds heavier and my thighs and butt are still big, my boobs are still too small, my teeth are still crooked, and…

Some of the women I've had sex with brought rather large peens with them... :flowerforyou:

I write them essays in response to their initial contact. One has been on phonoaesthetics, another on biosemiotics, and yet another on the ancient Greek practice of Orgia. Weirdly, I never receive a follow up.

Right? Some people have a thing for chocolate and sweets, but me? If there's something salted and crunchy and chip-shaped, I'm screwed. It's worse if there's some kind of dip.

Mostly I used youtube videos for basics, but when you're hooping on your own, it's best to think of the hoop as an extension of yourself and just dance with it. Rhythmic gymnastics can give some ideas of movement as well as other hooping videos. Find the things you're comfortable with and practice them until they feel easy…

PRACTICE. I've been hooping for about three years now, and I'm decidedly only intermediate (no leg tricks yet!), but honestly, just like with any other skill--just practice. Good music helps. Get a hoop that is the right size and weight for your height; the heavier it is, the more gravity will work in your favor to keep it…

5'10, 28 years old. Heaviest weight was 192. Current weight is 183. Goal weight is something under 170. There were only two times after reaching full height that I was under 165 pounds, and that was a) after years of being overworked and underfed at home (living on a farm + abusive stepfather = best calorie deficit ever,…

OP, if people did what you suggest, the MFP hive mind would wither and die. Half the population is sustained on these debates alone. Whether or not these debates contain more or less ideal nutrition is beyond me, but it keeps them going.

With cutting-edge jokes like that, I imagine Comedy Central is beating down your door to get you a stand up special!

It's hard to accurately measure, and for the most part, adults' stomachs are the size they're intended to be, regardless of how much or little you eat. Some studies have shown an increase and reduction in stomach capacity depending on intake, but not so much that the stomach has shrunk drastically. What dieting does is…
