Day 2 Goal - Drink 64 ounces of water. Today was my weigh in day and I gain 2 pounds - ugh. I am trying not to get discouraged like I usually do. It seems like I always gain weight on the weeks that I work the hardest. Then I usually get discouraged and quit - but not his time!

I might try that. I have a 28 ounce tumbler of water on my desk all day, every day and I'm lucky if I ever finish drinking it. I never feel thirsty so I have to force myself to drink. A pop up reminder in my email might just do the trick.

My mini goal for today is to go to the gym. I just joined a gym last week and I am still trying to figure out how to fit it into my schedule.

I had the same problem - I would vomit every time I took a vitamin. I tried different brands, taking at different times of the day and taking in with a variety of different food but nothing worked. I take the chewable Centrum Complete now and I have no issues what so ever.

I asked my doctor what to do if I burned 500 to 600 calories working out HOWEVER, I never burn that many. When I asked the question, I was just throwing numbers out since I really had no idea how much I'd actually burn once I got started on my worout plan. I net about 1200 calories which is where I need to be.

My doctor has me on a 1500 calorie diet. I specifically asked her about how to manage my calories if I burn 500 to 600 working out and she said that she does not believe in that method. She advised me not to eat back calories that I've burned.

Did anyone else completely blow their calorie count over the holiday weekend?! I know I did!! I'm getting back on track today - tracking what I eat and eating better food and hopefully getting some exercise in. Today is my wedding anniversary so I might be celebrating instead of exercising.

I've only done one day. Got a nasty stomach bug after lunch yesterday. I think I am going to attempt to do Day 2 now.

I complete Day 1 last night and I am feeling it today. I sit at a desk all day which I think makes it worse. I feel better if I keep moving. Day 2 tonight.

I started week 7 last night. I'd been doing the run parts of the program at 5mph but I couldn't do that last night. I had to drop down to 4.7mph and still needed to take a few breaks. I'm trying week 7, day 1 again tomorrow....at an even slower pace. this was a great thread to read. I feel better now.

I had my first son when I was 15 and my second when I was 17. They are 20 and 17 now and I am 35. Both children were NOT planned and I certainly wished that I had them when I was much older.....like now. I think I did OK at raising them but it would have been better if I'd had more life experience.

I've done the coolrunning C25K program in the past. Unfortunately, I did not keep up with my running and I can no longer do a 5K. i think I will start the program over again and join you!

I can't beleive that I gained 3 pounds this week. I don't understand it! My goal last week was to work out every day. I reached my goal. This weekend was super tough. I had a Retirement Party (dinner and drinks) on Friday night...A birthday party/cookout on Saturday and then Mother's Day Brunch and afternoon cookout on Sunday. I just sent my starting weight in....177. Icky. I did good on my water yesterday. I ended up sucking 3 glasses down an hour before bed so I had to get up and go to the bathroom a couple times. Today is much better since I already have 4 glasses done and its not even lunch time yet. Gotta get back to work! ~Tammi

I'm so excited that we are starting a week earlier than planned. I'm on board with the water challenge. Some days I could drink 8 glasses and then some without a problem. Other days - like today - I have to forcemyself to take a sip. Uggh. ~Tammi
