I have used a site called podrunner which has mixes at varying BPMs.......I find this helps bme to get in the zone esp as some of the musci played in the gym is frankly tosh.

well done - fantastic progress so far and keep up the good work! regarding the love handles etc I would suggest mixing up what ever aerobic exercise you are doing to increase the burn. Best of luck!

Good luck with that! you will lose it just keep focused and it will happen. We are always the biggest critics of ourselves - don't give yourself a hard time but use that energy to get your self back on track :happy:

It's really whatever suits you....I am an early bird so tend to hit the gym/pool first thing so I can relax in the evening.

My dad was not over weight but has had a stroke and his life is now severely restricted. Maybe If you knew of anyone who had had a stroke and get him to meet them it might bring the message home. Like many others have said it is down to him to change.

depends on the lenght of the pool but 10 on a 25m will give you 250. If you build up gradually each weel and mix you strokes up as already mentioned you will gain greater benefit. :smile:

Stick with it Karen, as clearly it has been made harder with your job loss but once you start shedding the pounds you will feel so much better physically and psychologically.
