  • I've done PiYo at my gym 3 times. I wore my heart rate monitor each time and got about 450 calories for 60 minutes. I am 5'5, 158 pounds and I don't modify any of the exercises. I went all out.

  • Try FitnessBlender on YouTube or at FitnessBlender.com They have a TON of workouts and you can search by type (cardio, weights, yoga, bodyweight), time, and/or calorie burn.
  • I'm wondering how I've never heard of Talenti and praying they sell it locally! Thanks, everyone
  • Toast. French toast, toast with butter, toast with jam, cinnamon toast, toast with peanut butter, toast dipped in eggs over easy. Toast, toast, toast!
  • The super fit married couple who teach my PiYo class. Wow… And Chalene Johnson…she's adorable and beautifully fit :)
  • I just ate the booty off an Easter Bunny chocolate cake…with white frosting and blue shredded coconut. But since it was the booty, that's probably not clean, is it?
  • The rule of thumb I've heard and always followed is ~ if it's above your neck, it's okay to workout (nose, head, throat, etc.), if it's below your neck, don't workout (chest congestion, cough, upset stomach). Of course, there are exceptions, but this rule generally works for me.
  • FitnessBlender.com or Fitness Blender on YouTube. I don't even know how many workouts they have ~ a lot! Everything from 5 minute warmups to hour long "1000" calorie burns. Hand weights, bodyweight, cardio, yoga, HIIT, Tabata, kickboxing, upper body, lower body, pilates, you name it. Husband and wife run it ~ no frills, no…
  • Mine is usually used as a dessert or evening snack. I either microwave one for 10 seconds or cut one up and bake for 7 minutes at 350 degrees. I also keep some in the car if I'm running errands and don't have time for something substantial. I remember the first time I ate one, I was scared to death of all that fiber at one…
  • Not your only option ~ should I be asking a different question? If you've got input, I could use it!
  • Leslie Sansone on YouTube ~ so many choices! It's a walk at home program. She offers walks from 1 mile to 5 miles. With or without boosters (weights, stretchy bands, jogging). She uses 4 basic steps ~ walking, side to side, kicks, knee lifts. I love her videos.
  • So your pedometer tells you you're burning well over 700 calories in 65 minutes on the treadmill but only 120 calories in 90 minutes in the park? Or is it the treadmill telling you you're burning those 700 calories? Are you running the whole time on the treadmill?
  • I'm 45 years old. I have dealt with anxiety and depression since I was 14. Since I started exercising regularly in January, a weight has been lifted. It's the first time I feel calm and peaceful every single day. Of course, I still have stress and bad moods, but my exercise, even just walking a mile or two, makes me feel…
  • I like the cookies and cream, the double chocolate chunk and the chocolate chip cookie dough. I tried baking the cookies and cream one the other day and I loved it! I cut it into pieces, set it on a cookie sheet (with parchment) and baked them for 7 minutes at 350 degrees. The taste is pretty much the same, but the…
  • I have the Polar FT4 with the strap and I love it. I do not notice the strap AT ALL. In fact, I'm more irritated by the watch part than the strap. Kind of a pain with weighted gloves or when doing push ups…always have to remember to loosen it to keep it further up my arm.
  • Peanut Butter 12 Grain Bread Cottage Cheese Coffee Chicken Frozen Vegetables Quest bars Bananas!
  • I have a tablespoon on my toast every morning with my coffee. I've changed a lot of things, but I won't give up my toast and peanut butter.
  • I have fallen in love with cottage cheese. It's my go to snack now. Lots of protein. Also, I add a Quest bar as an after dinner snack. High protein, low net carbs, lots of fiber, low sugar, yummy and they take forever to eat!
  • Thank you, everybody! It's my birthday, so I'm gonna have the butter, but I'll go easy on it ;) Gotta save room for my Grey Goose and cranberry! On my way to the gym for a conditioning circuit with my trainer…hoping to knock out at least enough calories for my crab! Again, I really appreciate all the replies!
  • If you have access to or can afford a trainer, I highly recommend it! I'm 45 with about 25 to 30 pounds to lose and I'm just finishing up week 6 with my trainer. I've lost 10 pounds, but my body looks like I've lost more. I LOVE IT! I go Tuesdays and Fridays and we alternate between heavy lifting and conditioning…
  • Listen to this girl!
  • Check out fitnessblender.com or fitness blender on YouTube. They have so many videos…cardio, strength, stretching, upper body, lower body, you name it. Plus, they have all different levels, calorie burns and times. They're also really easy to follow. Good luck!
  • That's so funny! I bought them for the first time the other day and I was soooo angry that I wasted 70 whole calories on one cookie! LOL I thought they were super gross. At least the cookie part was yummy…it was the filling that I didn't like. Now if they'd been the Double Stuff, that bag would be gone!
