I would not do barefoot. Yuck! and my last one was through the woods, somewhere I wouldn't want to go barefoot. I wore my tennis shoes and then washed them a million times. My husband wore lake shoes and he said the water challenges were much easier than with tennis shoes.

You can do it! I did my first last September and it was awesome! I am doing another one in April to see if I can improve on my time. Its so much fun and so empowering! Just knowing that you did it and that you finished is amazing, no matter how long it takes. And it goes in waves so its not like if you take a long time…

We haven't had any emotional changes in the house. I am thinking that the area hasn't been cleaned well and he is being drawn back to it. I don't think there is anything wrong with crating. I just liked having him sleep in the house where he can walk around since he is crated the whole work day. It is also in a different part of the house and I know he likes being in the main part of the hose better.

wow quick responses!! We do walk him right before bed and that's why I was quite surprised when we woke up, but we have also been leaving his food and water out. We only put food out 2 times a day, but sometimes it takes him a while to finish his dinner so we have been leaving it out. We'll start putting it away.
